Remarks

This is a latest institute among the architecture institutes present in Mumbai. It was founded in 2008, it has been successful is imparting knowledge with a good bunch of faculties and management system.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is the standard government approved syllabus by the council of architecture in Mumbai. We have design as a part of the syllabus for all the semesters, in the final semester we implement what we have learnt through a project.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are free to do internships with firms or live projects privately, no placement is offered by the college for now, but there is no compromising in the education we are given in here. We can get job recommendations from our seniors if in touch or opt for higher studies for specialization.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes, fees is not that expensive, it is affordable by most. If not educational loan can be obtained from centralized banks, the college accepts that. The fees is Rs 3.75 lakhs for all the five years on total. Rs. 75,000 per year.

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities like celebrating all the national holidays and organizing cultural events happen here at Samyak Sankalpa. We play sports like football and cricket in our leisure hours, the design studios are well equipped.

Admission

Every candidate SHOULD have a NATA score, need not be a high score but it should be a positive one. I scored 61% in my boards, the cumulative of both these scores were taken into consideration for my admission. The minimum boards score is 50%. The admission is a central allotment process, no management seats.

Faculty

4.5

All our faculties are well-qualified with mostly master degrees in their area of interest, they teach so well with practical exams, as that is what important in this creative course. We never felt bored listening to any of their lectures, they are all very informative.

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
