Entrance Preview

I gave PET and score 88 marks. For this much of marks I got that college. For that much of marks I got mechanical branch in my college.

Internships Opportunities

There were not so many come in my college. But the placement took in the previous year it was so more as compare to my year. So at that time when I am in final year not get call at least one company.

Placement Experience

From my branch that is mechanical branch there were not so many placed but from the other branches about 100 student got selected in that year when I was in final year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I surely I got scholarship every year means half of the entire fee for the college and that is very useful for me and got the easy way to feel the fee in the college for every year.

Campus Life

Gender ratios was 50 50 for the other branches but for my branch the gender ration was 10: 90 for girls to boys. So many useful in the college and got so many things which I got some interesting things.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was like 80 20 means 80 marks theory and 20 marks for the practical means internal marks is given by the teacher respected with the particular subjects.

Faculty

It was very good and faculty was very experienced person such as PhD in the respective subject. There are so many good professors in my college they can so many things.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

College is too bad. There is nothing apart from studying and attending regular classes. College does not help in the transportation of students or staff coming from Nagpur. They do not help students who goes for pool drive in Nagpur. Time to enter college is last 9 pm and after that, they do not allow students to enter.
