Remarks

Atmosphere is good of my college , good constructed building, grounds available for each games but the bad quality of canteens .

I am diploma holder, direct admission by internal college concealing , textile engineering, this college is near about my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

Textile course is so interesting. In this course i learnt how the fabric manufactured from cotton. iI also learnt dyeing, printing , knitting etc. High educated professor helps the students to learn this all things.

Internships Opportunities

Lots of companies will comes in my college. I have no experience. Because companies will come only for last year. When the students going to pass out .

Companies comes in my college for placement and job opportunities for students. Companies comes from different -different sector but I dont know because i am in 3rd year.

College Events

Tarrunam, allumini meet , compkriti , mech fest, athletic meet etc are the list of my college events. Students enjoyed all these events . For example : mech fest is organised only for the mechanical students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive of b.tech students. Every student not afford these fee structure. Near about 48000/- per semester fee of b.tech student and hostel fee is not included in 48000/-.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for schedule cast students. Fee weaver kota also available for intelligent students . But i dnt know about loan facility offered by my college for students.

Campus Life

I love the college life . I enjoy every moment in the college . There are many labs , sports grounds , dispensary available in the college . Every year college organised the sports competition, cultural competition, educational competitions etc

Hostel Facilities

4 hostels are available for boys . Good constructed buildings. The atmosphere is also good of hostel. Seperate room for each student . Mess is located in each hostel but the food quality is average offered by the mess.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Exam Structure

Exams structure of my college is related to the ptu exams structure . Papers were checked by ptu and the result is declared in the site of ptu.

Good campus life with decent academics

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent.Many companies visit the campus,but getting a good package depends on your skills and performance.Teh university also provides training support. Some companies like Deloitte,nexity consulting,Bigbasket,zepto etc visited are campus.

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

I didn't apply for other colleges. I chose this college as it was near my hometown and there were circumstances which prevented me from going too far from home. That's why, I chose this college. The admission process is simple. You need to have passed your senior secondary education in any central and state board. Exams accepted are JEE Mains and Board examinations. Best placement college in Punjab

60% percentage is needed in PCM course in the senior secondary or in diploma course from any Institute or university. Application form is available online in the university website only.
