Supriya Adhikary's Review On BFIT Group Of Institutions - [BFIT], Dehradun

I have chosen this college because i wanted to mass communication and i have heard that this college is good for mass communication and fees in BFIT were also feasible. And my cousin uses to study in bfit, he was happy with bfit. Thus, recommended to me. And it is near my place as well. The first day at college was a bit blue, but seniors come in our class, introduced themselves and we played the game even, antaakshari. Because of this game, I made friends on the very first day. Seniors made us comfortable.

The course is good, the first semester is boring because I was excited to get inaction of some practical knowledge like behind the studio scene, photography and more. But alas! i had to study boring stuff (Which I am not interested in) like the constitution. For Exams, we have to take internal and external exams along with practicals. Coming semester I'm looking forward to studying, photography, production, and global studies in media.

Internship we have to apply to own our own, teachers share the companies details of the local newspaper, news channel and some photography firms. We have to apply on our own for that.

The placement in my college is good. Many of my seniors are now working as content writers and news anchors in Nepal 1 Channel and Dainik Jagran and some as a reporter in the Hindustan newspaper. Many of them are now working own and Some have open their photography firm.

I got admission after giving an entrance exam along with an interview. For admission, i have applied online on the college website. And questions in the entrance were general knowledge, English and media knowledge questions as well. Like the first newspaper, movie, and more.

Personal Interview, in that they asked me about my interest, what I like, and why i have chosen mass media to study. Then they asked me about speak on the list of why mass communication and why they should choose me. In fact along while i was speaking they were checking my scores in 10 and 11-12. And noting down my points which i am good at.
