Course Curriculum Overview

4

MBBS is mix of theory and practice. Taking that in consideration my college's curriculum was apr with proper attention towards theory and practical based subjects. We are taught close to 20 to 25 subjects during our course. Annual exams are held and practical exams are held time to time.

Placement Experience

4

Placement rate of our college is quite good. The college has 4 hospitals attached to it where many of the students of the college have got placement. Internship facilities are also available for the students in these hospitals.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college's fee is not as hefty as private colleges. I paid around 25,000 at the time of admission as first year fees. Fees has to be submitted annually. Students are required to submit the fee before the start of the new session.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded to meritorious students. State government's scholarship are also available. One can apply for scholarships under the National Scholarship Portal of the central government. Education loans are offered by public and private sector banks.

Campus Life

3.5

The college has quite good infrastructure. There is a library, seperate girls and boys hostel, well equipped labs, cafeteria and what not. The labs are well equipped and are maintained as per the prescribed standards. Sports infrastructure like playground and courts are also available.

Admission

Admissions to the college are done based on the performance in the NEET entrance exam. Earlier admissions were done based on 10+2 marks followed by test conducted by the college. After securing good percentile in NEET I sat for the counseling. Was allotted a seat in the college during 2nd round of counseling.

Faculty

4

Experience is the word that best defines facualty in our college. Faculty is quite professional and helpful. The teaching staff comprises of Doctors that are in practice. All of the professors are experts in their domain and guide us well in all aspects of the given subject. There are full time doctors from the hospitals attached to campus who take lectures as visiting faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
