Remarks

Its my 3rd year in GKMC. This 3 year were amazing. Not just I studied but also enjoyed every day till now. College have provided facilities and environment that made every day special. Looking forward for more to come.

Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS includes all subjects doctorate in basic format . Because its mix course it takes whole 5 years to cover every subject. 25 to 29 medical subjects are covered in MBBS. With perfect balance of theory and practical assignments. Student study subjects in start . After MBBS they can specialize in 1 subject.

Placement Experience

College have 4 hospital attached. Which creates many job opportunities for students. Students showing expertise and specialization gets more chances in jobs. Also students can apply for internships for practice .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees of MBBS is annual. As GMKC is government medical college that?s why fees of courses are normal. Facilities and training staff is excellent compare to fees. Merits students even get special fee program.

Campus Life

College held various extracurricular programs for students. Annual culture programs, Social welfare programs, Blood donation programs, seminars, sports competition. Also college gave Pradarshini program yearly held from 34 years. Inter college Quiz competitions also arrange at college.

Admission

Student must have to pass 12th with subjects physics , chemistry , biology and English from recognized board. All application process is online on official website. Before exam student must have to get through NEET entrance exam. NEET is online exam. After result of NEET , college admission done of tge basis of merit list .

All faculty staff in college is very experienced . They teach every aspect with patience and motivation. Having all staff with so much experience , students can study everything with ease. Teachers focus student on pratical for better experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
