Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is choice-based, we are open to chose subjects based on the faculty, availability and subject interest. The institute takes up live projects in doing which we gain so much practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

4.5

Most of the B.Arch graduates prefer doing their masters before getting into a job. TSAP has a placement cell striving for its students, many of the students have got placed in some renown architectural firms in and around Mumbai.

College Events

4.5

As students of architecture many of us tend to be creative, to showcase which we have cultural events and fests at TSAP. Some of the workshops/events are as follows: 1. Bottle art 2. Caricature 3. Wire design 4. Origami

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fee is around Rs. 1,91,000 with added fees like the library and the university fees which on total sums up to Rs. 2,05,800. An education loan can be availed. For details on education loan check on the Vidya Lakshmi portal.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who find it difficult to pay the fee may avail education loan from any centralized banks. Check for the details of education loan on the portal called Vidhya Lakshmi. There is a refund policy at the institute however.

Campus Life

4.5

We have regular workshops on design concepts such as the pre-design workshop, the workshop on green buildings and ECBC. We have frequent industrial visits to have a practical knowledge about the structure and planning.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network in here is very good. Usually for a architecture school many companies/firms don't visit. Whereas, here at TSAP we have an ample amount of firms recruiting students. Some of our seniors recommend us for roles at their firms.

Admission

I got into TSAP through my JEE Main scores (any positive score is taken into consideration based on the cut off) and my board scores (minimum of 50%). Each year the eligibility criteria might differ hence check the official website of TSAP.

Faculty

5

Architecture is one such field where an elaborate teaching is required, all the faculty here are well-qualified. They stick to the curriculum well and do justice to the course. We have visiting faculties who help us in knowing about the current requirements in the field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
