Remarks

The college management takes a keen interest in the maintenance of infrastructure facilities and updating them from time to time.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course curriculum and examination pattern are as prescribed by the University of Mumbai, however, meticulously planned academic curriculum and stage-wise evaluation prepares us to face the examination in a confident manner. We are engaged to explore knowledge by peer learning exercises, site or industrial visits and hands-on training.

Placement Experience

4

The first batch of the institute has to jut graduated and I do not have much idea about their placements, however, the institute has placement and training cell that encourages us to participate in certified hands-on workshops and training helping us become industry-ready. The software training imparted by the institute is conducted over and above the academic curriculum which has a high value in the industry.

College Events

5

Marathi bhasha day, Independence day, Republic day, youth-day, World architects day, Women's day, Teachers day to name a few. The college host annual fest of EPOCH which is a collaborated effort of the student council and the faculty, the festival is open for participation for all colleges in Mumbai, it witnesses a maximum footfall of experts from academics, professionals, industry, parents and students from various streams.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are high compared to another institute, however, the infrastructure facilities provided and the quality of workshops, seminars and training beyond syllabus provides cutting edge lead in comparison to another institute. The fee-receipt carries all the details of break-down structure such as tuition, university-fee and any other.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't taken any benefit of any scholarship or loan for my education, however, the institute provides support, guidance, and help in procuring scholarships or loans.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is vibrant with activities throughout the year. The percentage of girls and boys is almost equal. The institute encourages social service and participation beyond campus. The institute is equipped and participates in sports activities, The institutes have engaged football and cricket coach. The students have participated in university-level matches of cricket, football, table tennis, chess, and badminton.

Alumni/Alumna

With only one batch graduated it has been a family-like environment where-in everyone knows everyone. In institute events, the college is steamed vertically red, yellow and blue teams for competitions that develop team spirit vertically and sportsmen ship.

Admission

Through the DTE admission process. I had placed it as my first choice and luckily I got it in the final round. The admission process of DTE and declaration of seat allotments must be meticulously followed. It requires uploading of all the documents and verification to be done at the application receiving center identified by DTE.

Faculty

5

The faculty structure is a balance of full time and visiting faculty. The full-time faculty is a blend of senior, mid-level and young mentors. The average age of all faculty is around 35. The lectures are based on industry experience and practice. The regular involvement of professionals and experts from the industry at least once in a fortnight helps bridge industry expectations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the architectural course because I love designing buildings. The teachers were good, and there weren't too many students in each class. They knew a lot about architecture and taught us in different ways, like drawing and going to see real buildings. The exams were fair and not too hard, but you had to study. Overall, I liked the course and learned a lot about architecture.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
