B. Tech at MDIT follows semester system and has a duration of 4 years. There course structure is very good and focuses on lot of research and practicals. The days are generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring.

The institution has a Placement Cell which takes care of placing students in the right kind of jobs. They provide arrangements for national and international companies to visit the campus for recruitment. The office organizes regular programs like soft skill training sessions, mock interviews and GD techniques to develop their communication skills.

The fee structure of MDIT for civil engineering is around 50 thousand per year which is quiet feasible as per the needs and demand of the course in the growing industry. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

The institution provides students with scholarship facility to help them fun their studies. There is M-DIT VIDYA DAN SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME. The scheme is formulated to award scholarships to meritorious students of M-DIT on merit cum means basis.

MDIT is very good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students and focuses on overall development of the students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and so on. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fates in which many other institutions take part and students get abundant exposure.

To get admission, All the Candidates should satisfy the eligibility criteria announced by the Government of Kerala in the Prospectus issued from the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Exams (CEE).50% of the total sanctioned seats under each department will be filled up by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) from the list prepared by the CEE on the basis of merit and in accordance with reservation principles followed by the State Government. The remaining 50%seats will be filled up by the College Management according to merit.

The faculty of the institution is very good. They are well qualified and trained with a great experience. They have good command over their respective subjects. They also encourage students in every possible way and help them when they need.
