I completed my B.A. L.L.B from Manikchand Pahade Law College. The experience I gained in my college life was quite amazing and I learnt a lot during my education here. My seniors were also quite helpful and the library was a good place for me to study apart from classes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is quite good and covers all the major subjects and practices needed to be learnt as a law graduate. The college is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and follows all the rules and guidelines mandated by it. The course follows a semester approach so the exams are held at the end of every semester. Apart from that internal examinations are also held by college.
Placement Experience
In college, job opportunities are quite good. Some of our seniors got placed with Infosys, Videocon, Mahindra, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC). Many students are even working under experienced lawyers.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the college is quite feasible. The fee for the first year of my B.A. L.L.B was around Rs. 2500. The total fee for my whole course duration of 5 years was around Rs. 14000. The fee was quite affordable for me.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are multiple scholarship opportunities for economically weaker students as well as awards and prizes for concession in fee for meritorious students. Many loan scholarships and government scholarships can be availed if a student is eligible.
Campus Life
The college actively participates in multiple extracurricular activities around the year like national moot court competitions, powerpoint presentation competition, debates and so on. The college has a good library with wide range of books and well-equipped fully functional computer lab.
Hostel Facilities
The college offers hostel facilities for both girls and boys. The hostels have one TV room, reading room, visitor room and an office also. Hot water facilities are also available and water purifiers are installed for drinking water. The rooms are quite spacious and well furnished. The hostels also have CCTV surveillance for security of students.
Admission
I got admission here through an entrance test and based on my 12th aggregate. After getting the reporting letter, I visited the college and gave my small interview after which I carried on with my admission process and submitted my original documents with a portion of my fee.
Faculty
The faculty was quite skilled and well-qualified professionals with good working and teaching experiences. The teachers always shared their professional experiences with us and helped us learn the basics with ease, delivering them to us in the easiest of ways possible. We gained a lot of important skills under the faculty.
