Exams and Courses were average. They were not that research-driven just some basic questions and thats it. Moreover, I am grateful to have walked out with a job in hand even in the period of great recession, it helped me immensely to shape my career and get me to a place where I am.

Placement is on top level in this college. But you will get only IT companies like Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, etc. I got placed in Capgemini.

Just one college annual festival. Breaking away from the academic routine, this intra-college annual fest helps inculcate event planning & organizing skills among the students. Right from the theme to the acts & performances, the entire fest is thought thourough by the students. For maintaining the decorum, the event is supervised by a committee of teachers. Beginning at different colleges of the Group, the event culminates as a Santosh Rungta Group of Institutions annual fest. It comprises of various cultural, sports and technological events. In other words, a gala time for every student.

Expensive. For research supervision we have a dedicated committee of Senior academicians, Research scholars and Industry professionals who mentor students in carrying out various research projects. Some of the major research projects include NaNo, technology, Bio-diesel performance test in Internal combustion engine, Energy auditing and conservation, Energy use thourough renewable sources, Product design & development (CAD/CAM and Rapid Prototyping) and Energy Parks Consultancy & Development.

No, I consider Rungta the initial launch pad for the position in which I am today. The transformation of my thought process of that of a purely academic mold to a multidimensional mode was achieved at Rungta.

The biggest function for a University is its Convocation Ceremony and Highest HoNo,rs for an academician, is to receive his/her Degree in a grand Convocation Ceremony. Santosh Rungta group of Institutions, Bhilai – Raipur, was bestowed with prestigious responsibility to host the Convocation Ceremony of state Technical University "CSVTU" – "Chhattisgarh Swamy Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai" in its picturesque Bhilai Campus. It was indeed an HoNo,r for Rungta Group to host such grand University event in its campus.

Just a few words about Rungta College of Engineering & technology… it really is one of the best college out there. I couldn't have asked for more; the teachers were so helpful to me, whenever there was anything.

I got admission by securing 1974 rank in CGPET Exam 2012. I chose Electrical engineering because I love this field. I tried for better colleges like IIT, NIT, etc first but when failed I had No, other option left. I gave CGPET in early 2012. Then I got selected in the first council held in July 2012 as my rank was very good. Moreover, I had very positive thoughts for this college while taking admission but soon after that I came to know that this college is just a business centre and everyone here is charging money for very silly things.

They were all good nature-wise exept few so one can directly approach them after contacting. They have good knowledge of respective subjects. They corporate you thouroughout your course. There were around 5000 lectures overall. HODs will provide you the exam form.
