Remarks

It was a great experience and what i liked best about my college was the practical approach and wholistic development communication, leadership, general management, time management.

Entrance Preview

I took the college entrance only. I wanted to go in for a non-professional course. Hence chose nutrition.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Very creative only batch which was offered a dual degree. Clinical nutrition, food service management, basic journalism, basic psychology we had to choose, cake architecture etc.

Internships Opportunities

During my time we were not given any stipend. We interned in a food industry a hotel and a hospital in 1st year,2nd year and 3rd year respectively. We could choose the company.

Placement Experience

1.5

Our course was converted into a food technology course after 2010. Post that, placements were offered from R&D depts of various food companies.

College Events

3.5

Abhilasha( Freshers party),Then we had a 3 day inter college fest,NCC day, founder's day where we used to serve prasad for school children, road safety week,Green week etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was on the higher side as it was a private college compared to other colleges. Since there was more lab work and practicals this added on to this fees. Fees had to be paid per year and we had an option of 2 instalments.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not very sure about this one but there was some scholarship offered to the people whose family income was on the lesser side.

Campus Life

4.5

Importance was given to sports and NCC. We had a sports team representation in almost all games. It was a women's only college. Encouraged constantly to participate in inter college competitions.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Our college did not have a hostel. The canteen was excellent and sambhar rice is something that i can vouch for even today. We would get vey good variety.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were wonderful. Not part of the alumni network so not very sure about that.

Exam Structure

Our course had a stressful and hectic schedule. We had almost 5 practicals and lab work involved with it. Great labs with excellent equipments and infrastructures.

Faculty

4

Well qualified approachable and knowledgable. Most of them were Phds and NET/SET qualified. They were also from nutrition background always ready to help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.
