Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum and exam pattern of the exam is standard. Even students can pick their favourite subjects or trending technologies to study. As this college is autonomous college of government. So the syllabus can be changed every year. According to latest market trends.

Placement Experience

The placement record is very good of this college. In our batch 300 and more students got placement in MNC's like TCS,Nvidia, Principle global. Interested students can also take internships. College TPO helps students to find internships. Even you get paid for internships and also get experience certificate

College Events

There are various events college students organises such as GECA Wings : it is an national level event in which students from various colleges participates. Multiple fun and technical events comes under geca wings. It is organized mostily in December and January. GECA Antrang : this is annual event of GECA. In which various sports,dance,state day will get celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of this college is very good. As this college is of government so the fees is very low. For MCA students the fees for general categories is 13000 and for students in minority it is less. You have to pay the fees at the time of admission.

Yes, i have opted for scholarships. All government scholarship eligible to you. You can opt for them.

Campus Life

The campus life in GECA is very awesome. Their are various clubs present for various skill you can take part in various club if you are interested in extra curricular activities. Many departmental competition are their so you can participate and win exciting prices

The alumni network of GECA is very strong. their is a alumni department that keeps track of alumni and in contact with them. Evry year alumni gather in college.

Admission

You have to pass an exam MH-CET with good rank. I opted for this college because Maharashtra has only two government colleges for MCA and this college is amongst those college. To get selected in this college you should get top 100 rank in CET exam. Because the seats are limited.

Faculty

The faculty of this college is highly skilled. They also have go though a selection procedure to teach students. The main thing i like about the college teacher is that they attention to each student.They are really supportive in nature. And help you in any matter related to study or personal

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the college campus have a big area and sports ground to very much good
The faculty is very every teacher are and friendly and helpful and very students friendly
And the ratio is the equal for boys and girls

Dislikes

The only thing I don't like that we have less parking in the college campus
And ok Saturday also there is college yrr

The placements is good in this college because Lab that play yeah there is a campus placements every big companies like big 4 are there and it's good for the students for getting the percentage and the percentage of students get 90 previous year around 93% of students got placed from the College placements my plan is to after getting this degree I will make sure that I will get a job in Big force I will try

Campus placements are available for students generally during the final year of the MCA program. The college provides sessions for resume making, mock interviews and soft skills. The placement opportunities and packages vary each year depending on the companies visiting the campus and students performance. After completing my MCA, I plan to build and apply my technical skills by securing a job in the IT sector.

ICEM for MCA is good or bad

Likes

The faculty and teaching member are knowledgeable and supportive . But they lag in explaining concepts . I think the every college has the same situation.The teaching is focused on books concepts rather than practical.The teachers lags in practicals.
The campus has a very very good infrastructure including high storage and RAM computers in the labs on which most of the software necessary for the programming works . Along with that the wifi is only avaiable for the Hostel students .Library is good
The college environment is friendly. I remember one event where Arsh Goel came for the students to motivate and give his insights on tech. Along with there is a sport ground for cricket, football, basket ball, gyms is available with provided items..

Dislikes

As well on the other side fake companies and smaller companies came like one fake company came name Data Tech Labs. Also opportunities depends on the TPO . In our time TPO was not good .For last batches TPO was good. And we had good placments ....
Real-world projects exposure will improve learning experience. I think students should be free to do internships after 1st semester . and in the 3rd semester the focused should be more on final placments..
Canteen is good but the prices are pretty high for the simple food . For a simple vegeterian thalli we have to pay 90 rs in which we are not able to have the sabji again and again . It is one time filling. And other items have little high prices....

Placement Experience:

Placments are really good like 4 students got 12 LPA at crowdstrike after successful internships. I think in our class 20 students got placed from college side and i think it can be improved , the college should give more freedom to students for their preparation rather than focusing on attendence Good companies like Delta Capita, Crowdstrike, Vanderland, Winspire Solutions came to the campus. The placment usually starts from 3rd semeser .

Likes

Strong support from faculty, whenever students asks faculty for help they always supports.
Up to date curriculum, syllabus of the college is up to date with current trends in the industry
Environment in the campus, more oxygen level as compare other colleges

Dislikes

Food quality in the specified canteen, canteen food sometimes feels very disgusting.
No options for without onion garlic food.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from sencond semester it self. Per Students 30 companies are offered by the college. The highest package from last year is 12LPA and average package is 5LPA. Interships are also provided by the college.

Excellent College

Placement Experience:

from the 2nd semester itself, the students are eligible for campus placements. companies like Capgemini, wurth-it, Godrej,Infosys, TCS, and Sankey visit very often and make a good no. of offers. the average package is around 4-5Lpa for freshers. about 80-90% of students get placed. I plan to work and learn after getting the degree.

Remarks:

In the final verdict, I would say MIT Group has many colleges in this campus which are among top 3 colleges in Pune. MACS College certainly is among top 10.
