Remarks

Money minded people, especially the management principal and department HOD's are all one gang.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Followed as per University regulations, usually good but depends on the Department which you studied in, my dept was mechanical engineering which was a role model dept for all other departments in my college, everyone seeked ideas and help from us. But overall it depends on the choice of department

Placement Experience

0.5

College has name sake placement, they show off with big boards in entrance saying we have 100% placement. But reality is that they just bring in few companies and take interviews, later they don't show up. At the end of graduation 9/10 people who got selected in interview will not be placed, they just give false info stating you didn't meet their expectations itseems. Not to blame anyone but it's a true fact the placement is worst. Internship is to be searched by individuals, college doesn't even provide any help in search, but they just expect everything to be done on time.

College Events

0.5

Hardly they conduct cultural activities, but mechanical dept won't allow anyone to attend l, cause of HOD. Annual day is conducted just for name sake, one evening they'll toss out dances and prize distribution that's all. Sports is conducted, but not encouraged by most of the dept, so it's just there for only few days

Fee Structure And Facilities

Paid seats fee is more, they just take more money than that is to be paid, like for exam fee they take 150?-200? extra, if asked they'll say some random fee, it's also cross checked with University, but they'll mark us down if asked twice or more and play with our marks if we proactively ask them for such events. They conduct placement classes for around 4-5k per year, but utterly useless.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship nothing from college side, they just take money from us. I paid everything from hard earned money by my parents, and at time taken gold loan cause the college people demanded money initially itself to pay everything even before getting results. If we don't pay they'll add additional ?1000 fine per day and they indeed collected fine amount of about 3000? from most of my friends.

Campus Life

2

First of all they treat girls and boys as seperate species, if you are found talking to your opposite gender They'll make a note on that, especially teachers and mock us while we get less scores. Labs are outdated and most of them won't work at all. No sports equipment, other than one or two volley ball and net.

Hostel Facilities

1

I was in hostel for two years, and frankly speaking it Chaos for water and don't even ask about food. They have more than 40% Nepali students, they offer food as per their taste only. What's the point of taki ?70000 per year if they can't provide us with food that suits us. They just ambush parents when they come with some good food, most of the times they take so long to serve food, we missed classes in the morning.

Alumni/Alumna

Nope. I don't even have anything to recall about this. They're not even attending alumini due to the worst experiences they had while studying.

Admission

Paid admission, everything is taken care by admission dept. You just gotta go and lend your money, certificates you'll be treated as king until you are getting admission, after that you're not even remembered as a person. They just focus on getting more admissions and make more money. The college doesn't accept any modes of payment other than cash or loan check. They best part is the college mandatorly asks everyone to open personal account in order to make any payment by deducting 250? as account opening fees.

Faculty

2

Lecturers are plenty enough, but needs experienced ones atleast half of them should be experienced. Whereas in my college more than half are just passed PG graduates who came in for employment. Other than this everything's fine and dept heads are good at handling things.

Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”
