Remarks

College management is very much money minded and they are always ready to snatch money for silly things instead of thinking about the enriching the faculty quality, labs and media labs. They should understand that things have changed and they need more students to hold their reputation in the market.

Entrance Preview

I have take admission based on my score in 12th standard. I was always keen for biology field and wanted to pursue this course as this is booming in the market. I scored more than 70 percent in all semester and this college provide me everything to establish in life.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was good according to academics standard, but need to improve lot to cop up the market demand in the recent condition. When I passed out, t was enough to crack interview and get job, but now, the market has changed. So, I feel it needs to get improved lot in terms of industrial exposure.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was I would say college did hard work, but can be improved lot in terms of attract more students with good internship quality. Now, in this market condition it always good to have industrial experience during study. I think college is trying, but should try hard to get more opportunities.

Placement Experience

3.5

They have annual placement fair, but it is just a show i would this college is far better than other colleges to offer jobs to students. They try to bring best companies and offer students. I would say, I am happy with this category as they helped me lot in terms of getting job.

College Events

5

They have all sorts of celebration you can think of cultural celebration and science fest is the main attraction in GCC. One of the finest college to produce talent in the extra curricular activities. That's really good to be part of this college and I have also participated in lots of activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was within a common man range, but recently they have increased the fees now, its been very high in terms of common man's reach they should provide great infrastructure because the fees are really high.

Fees and Financial Aid

No college does not offer any loan to the students college does not even offer good scholarship college doesn't provide any facilities like that to students. In this category, they need to be little more flexible for students to make the course affordable for students.

Campus Life

2

Campus life is the best till date good campus with lots of facilities and sports activities. GCC is known it's campus and greenery good parks, study rooms, library, cafeteria, mess, transport service, etc this is the best among all.

Hostel Facilities

3

When i was there in hostel for five years, it was one of the best hostels in the Bangalore. GCC hostel is best in terms of cleanliness, foods, facilities, beds, water, discipline, etc. I believe hostel is the main attraction in GCC as they have world class facilities and infrastructure.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is well planned and they do lots of activities for the passed out students. GCC has good committee to take care of the alumni activities and it is also a plus point for GCC.

Exam Structure

Labs were really good, but now the infrastructure has gone down due to lack of lab attender and qualified attender. Lab infrastructure could be improved lot in terms of bringing the new technologies and opportunities.

Faculty

2

Faculty was good i would say, faculty standard can be improved as it is something industrial course. Faculty can help us, but should have enough knowledge to deal with academics and general questions of the students. I would say, college should more educated and experienced faculty in order to bring out the best from the students.

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

There is no such thing as placements for now (in 1st year here) but in our second year, we have placement support here. We have compulsory internship at our Second year. We only have 2 batches, 1st Year and 2nd Year. But for now, among our seniors 60% of them hold internships and others are either building something or scaling their skills. For now, we don't have any placement records but according to scaler academy, it will be aroung 24 Lakhs.
