Best Private College but with little drawbacks

Over the the college experience is good and the study environment is good. But the college need to improve in canteen, library and urinals facilities. I would recommend my college to other s also.

No entrance exam is conducted. Admissions based on merit.I easily got the admission in the BSc. course due to my 80 percent in class 12th.

The BSc. is a three year course with six semesters as per the guidelines by the Punjabi University Patiala. The main subjects throughout all the three years were chemistry, physics, maths and punjabi. Only in second year there was English and Environment Science.

Yet I have to clear my final year and yet no internship has been offered to me. And for my their is no internship offered. Their is no stipend offered to me.

Actually Yet I have seen any campus recruitment drive in my college and so nothing about the companies that came for recruitment to our college. But I could say their is placement cell in our college.

The college celebrate various events like Annual Talent Hunt, Annual Function and various other sort of competitions. Recently their was Armed Forces exhibition in our college campus.

The fees is taken in two installments in one year. Average it is around Rs 20, 000 per year excluding the examination fees that is taken by the University. The examination fee is around Rs 2100 per semester.

The college offered all sorts of scholarship schemes by Central and state government and apart from it, the college also offers private scholarships to needy students. Students can also be granted Rs 100, 000 loan if required.

The campus life is good and the regular extracurricular activities are conducted by college like quizzes, debates, chart making etc.There is no kind of discrimination done by college authorities while interacting with students. The atmosphere in college is good and there is no accident of violence occurred during my study period.

There is no hostel facilities available in the college. Only there are three or four rooms for sportsmen are available but their is no food availability.

The seniors always guide us through tough situation in studies as well as in preparing for other activities. I have got chance to interact with various former students of college a during annual function and other events and got valuable inputs from them.

The exams are held once in a six month due to semester system. There are regular monthly tests taken by our teachers and before final exams a Mid term exams also held and taken by college.

The college has one of the best faculties available in bathinda. Though their are certain contact based teachers also enrolled by college which are less experienced but the science department has the best experienced teachers for us.
