Until I studied, management was excellent they understood the needs for students and we can approach our principal easily. Bad remark is they still treat students as school kids they pamper us alot.

I did not write any entrance exam because this is arts college i opted for this college because this is very close to my home it will take just 15 mins to reach my college.

I loved my course this is not something you read about machines you learn about art, literature, lifestyle, political changes, religious policies and its influence on the society. I m glad that I opted Literature as mainstream course.

HCL, Dell, Infosys, Wipro, HP and other leading IT companies came for recruitment we have soft skill trainer in our college and she was the one who brought all these companies to our college for recruitment.

Since this is art and science college, most of the It companies recruited for customer service field and they preferred only for night shifts. Also, my college is located in north chennai and many are not aware of my college. So these companies usually recruit from top companies and later they prefer us for night shift customer service from HCL I was offered 14,000 per month. For other students from B.Com and computer science they were offered 20, 000 per month as freshers.

My 3rd year in the college was the 25th year celebration for the college so every department had seminars and other competitions. From my department, we had 1 week of celebration and on day 1 we invited editors of all English newspapers from Chennai and they spoke about sensationalism on media. We had several seminars on technology on literature, Journalism, film studies, other regional languages etc. We have college culturals, inter-collegiate competitions also. Once Dr. Abdul kalam visited our college which was the proud moment for us. All the girls will eagerly participate on all cuturl and sports events.

Comparing with other leading colleges in the city, our college fee structure is very low. They give plenty of time to pay semester fees lab fees and other tution fees are also low comparing with other colleges. Also, the transportation, college bus fee is just 150 per month which is very low.

I seriously have no idea about loan facility but we get scholarship money for SC/ST we get around 5000 per semester there are other scholorships, sports quota etc.

Campus life is wonderful we are allowed to take part in all kind of sports activities, every evening we can play in the ground and take which ever sports equipment you need also, on labs, there is no restrictions that you must wear lab coat etc but u must attend all the practicals robotics is only for science students debates we never had but we have interactive session after every seminar.

We dont have hostel in our college but have canteen the cost of food is low but we do not have variety of foods there. same veg biriyani, sambar rice, curd rice, masal vadai, chappathi with channa, idly sambar in morning.

Alumini association will happen every year on January 26 I have seen many aluminis coming back to college every year and we will be sent invitations via email from college.

I dont have to deal with labs and practicals but we had specialized, computerized language lab which has special software to teach language, grammar and vocabulary. Every department students should attend these training classes. Exams, we have once in three months and before semester we will have model exams.

Very helpful indeed they always urge students to take part in power point, paper presentation etc. They push us, literally to take part in seminars during our final year project, lecturers helped us to prepare the best projects they were strict and very helpful as well.
