College Review

The overall college management is good. Although there are several incidents where the management shows inefficiency in solving the issues but overall it takes good care of all the activities going in the Institute.

Our Institute follows a continuous comprehensive evaluation pattern. Thus there are a total of 3 exams(i.e first minor exam, second minor exam and End semester exams) in a sem along with various projects, assignments and quizzes. The continuous evaluation pattern helps one improve his weakness in particular subject based on continuous results.

We have a good placement statistics. Companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Wipro, LnT, TCS and many other big companies visit our campus every year for the placements. Companies from Japan, Indonesia and many other countries also offers job to our students.Our students lands good internship opportunities be it a research internship or Industrial internship. Many goes to Germany and Spain for research internships.

We have thouree Major events in our Institute, Ignus which is the socio-cultural fest which witness a crowd of around 10-15k people every year. Varchas which is our annual sports fest witness a crowd of around 5-7k people every year.The third fest is Aaftab which is the annual Literature fest that witness a crowd of around 3k people.

The program fee for my course is 1.4 lakhs per semester. Mode of payments accepted by college is thourough net banking, debit cards or credit cards or thourough paytm. Yes the college provide complete transperancy in the fee break-down. Also you get a printed copy of fee receipt. There are no other fees except gymkhana fees.

Not opted. Yes the college offers scholarship based on merit cum means basis. Students with family income less than 6LPA can opt for the scholarship given they have a decent CGPA.

Our Institute provides a very good campus life. The gender ratio is around 5:1 boys to girls ratio. We also have various clubs like music club, dance club, photography club, Astronomy club and various sports facility like football, volleyball, cricket, badminton,Table tennis.

Alumni network is very strong, every sem there is a one on one interaction with many of our Alumni's. They often guide you to have a strong career ahead.

The admission is thourough the joint entrance examination. I gave the JEE exam in the year 2018. For getting admission into IITs one need to appear for JEE mains and need to get a decent rank. Top 2 lakhs candidate are then selected for JEE Advanced. You need to have a rank under 10000 to get admission into any of the IITs. The subject you need to prepare well are Physics, Chemistry and Maths. I am enrolled in Biotechnology course in the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. I decided to choose this course because this course has a great scope in the coming future.

We have great faculties in the Institute. All are PhD holders from the premier institutes of India. Tentative number of faculty members is around 15 in my course. All are expert in their fields and many are awarded with national level awards. They are conducting research in various fields related to biotechnology.Average age is around 30-40.
