My graduation experience was good. Just they to give attention to make syllabus more industry oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah it was quite industry oriented. We enjoyed learning there. Curriculum is decided by University. I don't find it industry oriented at all. But college provided us different courses to catch up with industry oriented stuff. With the help of it you can cope up with campus placements

Placement Experience

College provides internship opportunities and also placement opportunities. Many mass recruiters like TCS visits campus for recruitment every year

College Events

Out college holds flagship in case of anual event celebrations.there may events college celebrates every year.annual events include technical non technical competition. cultural performances various days.and annual feast.also independence day and republic day

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fees are moderate but living expenses are more. There no additional fees and charges if you secure admission thourough central admission allotment. You just have to pay extra charges just like gymkhana fees which is negligible. Fee Structure is same for all.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, A government scholarship. College admin people helped with it. Admin department is very helpful.

Campus Life

As I was part of mechanical department geneder ration was less near about 1:15. There are many extra curricular activities and groups at college. You can join any one of them. Some of them are Supra India team, BAJA, Firodia karandak, Cultural team, Astronomy club,etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is there. Alumni visits college to guide students in curriculum and placement things.

Admission

Because I got it alloted thourough central process. Admission process is according to central allocation process. After allocation of by DTE toy have to visit college for document submission proccess. You have to submit fees at the time of documentation process itself.

Faculty

There were 5-8 lecturers per semester. I don't know about industry certification but average age was 30. College professors are very helpful they provide you not only assistance with curriculum but also they assist you for extra curricular activities.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
