Remarks

The college is much comfortable but the only problem which student face is the attendance issue. As the attendance are online marked so after 24 hours we can't get the attendance edited. Rest other things are of much comfortable.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course for B.tech is divided into 8 semesters and there are 2 exam in one semester, one is minor and the other is major exam. Minor exam is of 20 marks and it consists of 40% of syllabus and these exam help us to check our knowledge in a very good behaviour.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement of civil engineering student is not much good in core companies but they get a very good placement in non core company. The average package ranges from 6-8 lacs pa. Students in computer science engineering are placed in Google, IBM and other MNC. Student from civil engineering get placed in L&T, Supertech, Tata Construction and many other companies. I've done 2 internship in PWD and have written a 2 research papers. At the end of each year we have to do some training.

College Events

3.5

Each year we have a Amity Youth Fest which is very famous and much happening. It lasts for 3 days and consists of many technical, non technical events. In our department we have international conference known as TRACE in which forign delegates come and present a research paper of their field. Each department has their own society Some are for dance, singing and many others related to robotics.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The program fee for B. tech Civil Engineering is 1. 4 lacs in Non Sponsored Category for each semester but I've a 50% scholarship. The fee is expensive for some students but they can study hard and score a scholarship. For students having any back they need to pay the back fees and we can check the break down in each category of fee we have paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm on 50% scholarship for 3 years. The scholarship was given to me on the basis of marks in my 12th class and this scholarship is continued if you remain im top 5% of your whole class strength. The scholarship is provided on the annual fee which i've to pay.

Campus Life

5

The campus is very humungous and is having different blocks for different courses. The college has Dominoz, Subway, CCD and other Cafeterias. College has 3-4 mess which provides very good and healthy food and we have a ver advanced labs which are equipped with advanced technologies. In the campus there are different debate and dance competition scheduled each 3 month anf the gender ratio is 3:7. for each 3 boy there are 7 girls.

Hostel Facilities

3

I've not opted for any hostel inside the Amity but I 've taken a PG near the college. The PG is just 1. 2 km away from the college and the monthly rent for my room is 10000 excluding the food and laundry charges. Many students opt for flats nearby which cost around 20-25k for 2 bhks.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are much helping and we have an office in which we can see the alumuni details. We have different politician who have graduated from our college and different film stars. The alumuni have a very skilled network for us.

Admission

I was informed by my friend about this College. As I was having a percentage greater than 80 in 12th so I was selected directly without even giving a entrance exam. But for those who don't qualify this criteria they can go for entrance exam and then a interview. I opted for civil engineering because i'd interest in this course from my childhood.

Faculty

4.5

Some of the faculty are best in Behave, knowledge and they have an eminent knowledge about the subject. The faculty are too much friendly and they teach us in a very good behaviour. The faculty have well prepared notes and are presentation ready for each topic. They even give us assignment and have to upload on Google classroom and all the materials are available on Google classroom.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
