About the college

Our college is having a very good environment for the coding. College is having a very good placement record and intern record as well. Many branches have 100% placement. Non cs branches also do coding here and hence they are also getting good jobs. Infrastructure is not upto mark.

I am in computer science and I will describe about that only. In computer science we have about 4-5 courses every semester. We have mid sem and end sem as the exams in one semester. Mid sem is of around 30 marks and end sem is of around 40 marks.

IIT BHU is having a very good placement as well as intern record. This year 4 to 5 branches had 100% placement record while other had more than 50% record. All girls got placed. Intern season starts in the month of July and there are many companies giving stipend of more than 50k.

There are thouree main events. For the sports we have spardha which takes place in the odd semester. Many colleges comes and do take participate. It is the 3 day event. After spardha we have kashiyatra which is also of 3 day and then technical event takes places as Technex.

Those who are having income greater than 5 lakhs have to pay 1 lakh per semester. For the income greater 1 less than 5 will have to pay around 50k and below 1 lakh no fees is charged. Mess fees is equal for all the students that is 12k per semester.

Income below 5 laks are eligible for the scholarship upto 50k. Scholarship also depends on our academic records and our pointer. If they are many students applying for the scholarship then the one who is having the highest pointer will get the scholarship.

Gender ratio from boys to girls is around 13:1 but now there are many girls joining the campus. There are many workshop including workshop of coding. Many parties do takes place like freshers party and also fairwell party.

New hostel have big size room in comparison with old hostel. There are many washouroom on one floor. Washourooms are generally clean. Some hostel are having garden too. All hostel have sports facilities like table tennis and badminton.

Seniors are very friendly here. Their guidance is very helpful. They help us getting good intern and placement. Also we recieves intern party as well as placement party. They help us getting our code debug and help us to learn coding as well.

I got my admission thourough IIT Advance 2016. The branch we choose depends on our hee rank. I wanted cs because of interest in coding and also placement in computer science is very good. I got my branch change after my first year to cs from ceramic.

Faculty of all the department are very helpful and very hard-working. Some are strict but some are very cool professor. Professor are friendly too and they also help us choosing our carrier. They help us in guiding our projects too.
