Remarks

Positive remarks would be location of the college that is very close to the railway station ime at walking distance of 5 minutes and negative would be that the overall standard of teaching and the college infrastructure needs to be improved severely

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is of Mumbai University and needs to be updated some of the subjects are irrelevant to today's technologies being used and about exam structure we had exam's every six months or semester for subjects in that semester ranging from four to six

No our college doesn't provide internship if you want one you need to go out on your own for interview's The placement at the college is average compared to others in the city.mostly students get placed in Mass recruiter companies.

College Events

College has a lot of events technical and non technical as well as sporting events.there are department vise technical competition in odd semester and sport's festival in the winter break whereas the college main cultural festival is in March montj

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is for both semester's combined i.e for an entire year and is similar to most college's in the city and is about one lakh ten thousand rupees for a year so for 4 years it becomes around four lakh fifty thousand.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a scholarship program for students from economically weak family background which covers almost the entire years fees and a little extra stipend for those students also there is a freeship program for students from different social classes

The college has a mostly Marathi speaking students, as it is a engineering college the gender ratios are low with more boys than girls about 5:1 there are no dorm parties, several workshops are organised by the college. students are from all religion s but majority is Hindu.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a good network of alumni and there are helpful if you know them personally the network is usually active for mostly by the popular students there is alumni meet every year at the college where alumni meet

Admission

In order to get admitted to any engineering course in the college one needs to give the Joint entrance exam or Maharashtra state common entrance test and then apply for a course by CAP rounds where you will be allocated a seat if you meet the admission criteria

Most of the staff is quite experienced. Almost all of them have a master's degree. A few of the staff are new to teaching and some are very old. Most teachers teach good,some are strict while most others are friendly.

yes my college provide campus placement. we have seprate placement cell for preparation of placemet interview and compony ready. We also have many companies in tieups for hiring.avg placement is also good like 5-6 lpa student easy to get 10+ lpa package when your acedmics are good and skill development

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

One of the best college in Mumbai

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

just money making college

Remarks:

The college management was just running an money collecting machine. there were no payments to the staff. every year most of the staff would resign and they would apply new staff. not only the staff even the principle was changed in last 5 years the college had gotten 5 principles. the college had also not refunded the deposit amount which the had taken from each students during the admission time.

Should I go for VCET ??!!

I stay in goregaon and for me travelling in the reverse direction is easier than travelling to other colleges. The timing of the trains and the crowd is also pretty managable. I did apply for various college. KJ Somaiya and Xaviers are the college were I was accepted but according to my comfort I chose this college. As the Fees is also reasonable and the traveling time is also saved, So for me it was a the comfort zone I'd say. And other college I was rejected due to the score was not compitent as they needed it. It takes admission on the basis of CET JEE so the admission process is almost online they do have their institute round on their website for which the result is also given on the website itself....Read More

Admission process is smooth at the college. The management is very clear with all the instructions. Eligibility exams are MHTCET and JEE mains and also diploma in related field.
