Remarks

Sports facilities are not upto mark as our campus is only of 20 acres we do not have any proper arena for game except Basketball it is a Delhi-NCR college so you ought to be very practical in your life.

Entrance Preview

I gave JEE Mains exam and got 72694 rank(153 marks in JEE Main,82% in CBSE). I filled the college application form after exams and got called for counselling in July. I chose this college because in India if you do not get a government college or BITS or DAIICT then you have to chose private colleges like SRM, LNMIIT like colleges and among them it is a good option.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is different from that of government colleges but better than those as they contain some irrelevant subjects nothing to do with your branch or engineering. Course curriculum is changed this year for 1st year it is quite good actually faculty is of average level. But seriousely faculty doesn't matter in the engineering colleges, all that matters is your self study, hard work and creativity.

Internships Opportunities

I'm studying in 2nd year so I have not applied for any internship yet but there are plenty of student interns from codechef, GSOC, etc. who are in 3rd & 4th year.

Placement Experience

3.5

There is a training and placement cell located at JIIT Noida centrally handles campus placement of the graduating students of all our campuses. Campus placements vary from 3.4 to 22 lacs. Highest placement is given by Amazon(>21 lacs) and then SAP labs(>8 lacs), Start-ups like Green tree, Kuliza(6-10 lacs), Deloitte, etc and then there are the mass recruiters like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro(3.5-5 lacs). This year 6 students from college got selected in Amazon with package of 24 lacs and a few others as interns.

College Events

3

IMPRESSIONS the annual techno-cultural-managerial festival of JIIT. It is a pulsating festival with an array of events, allowing the students a chance to exhibit and participate in technical and academic pursuits of programming, robotics, B-plan competitions, panel discussions, talk shows and many more such creative challenges. On the other hand it also provides ample opportunities to the young students of today to experience and live their passion doing theme walks, fashions shows and at the same time express their talent and versatility through choreography and street plays. Also there are other events during the year like Dandiya Night, Fresher, Sports meet, etc. Last year we got "The Local Train" band for musical night and Nikhil Chinapa for DJ night.

Fees and Financial Aid

In my knowledge there is nobody who has availed a scholorship although there is a scholorship programme but sorry, no idea.

Campus Life

1.5

Our college is situated on NH-24 in Delhi-NCR, Noida so there is a bit more culture of dayscholar rather than hosteler. College life is regular with all the classes and stuff but gets really bored on weekends as all hostelers in 200 km distance goes to there home town. Facilities like swimming pool, TT table, snooker tables are provide in hostels. Gender ratio are good and there is safety for both girls and boys.Girls are not allowed to go out after 8:00 pm and for boys 10:00 pm. There are many hubs setted-up in our colleges but only a few are active throughout the year. Our Radience hub is maybe the best hub for fashion in northern India. Programming hub, Robotics hub, Dramatics hub are also very good in our college.

Hostel Facilities

3

It is a private college so it takes a lot fee as compared to government colleges. Hostels are good, very well maintained with basic facilities like AC, Lift, etc. But rooms are smaller and you each room will have 2 hostelers throughout B.Tech. We got a 19 storey hostel which accomodates around 1650 students, but Igotta say that lift system is somewhat poor. We got 6 lifts for complete hostel with 5 functional at time. Food is of nice quality and there is no restriction on the quantity taken. Personally I don't like the taste of food but hey, you're not gonno get the same home taste.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network is strong there are numerous of alumini that comes in the hub orientation and seminars. I have not been vary interactive with my seniors or alumini, but they all are ready to help you when needed alumini Network- 7/10Senior Students- 6/10.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BTech because I wanted to explore how real world works with technology and to know the insights of technology. The college mostly provides theoretical knowledge and not the practical knowledge refraining us from more exposure to real world problems. If the course is shifted from theoretical to practical it'll be really helpful. Two exams are conducted per semester, and the difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
