College Feedback

Positive first, college is at good place not to far and located centrally in Dhanbad and have good facilities for reaching there by several means our faculty are very good they always support children like their own kids.

My course is Bachelor of Science Geology Honors and in my opinion the course curriculum is very good and motivating itself there are several seminars and projects demonstration goes on Geology we also have regular practical sessions. The exam structure is also very convenient in first semester we had two core paper one elective and one general English.

No Placements are there but students after completing their Bachelor degree in science Geology honors can apply for several companies and if got selected starts their crrer from there. Companies should come to college in order to promote students in that field and motivating them for further studies.

Several events are celebrated in the college from Fresher's Party to Farewell and from Teachers day to Children day everything got celebrated in our college. Students enjoy these events very much several cultural events are also organised regularly in the college.

Fee Structure of the college is feasible not too expensive nor too cheap. In first semester I had to pay about 2600 for admission for general category but there is exemption for OBC and SC/ST students they are allowed to study at much lower cost which is good and very feasible for them.

I not got any kind of scholarship from the college but several other OB and SC/ST students get scholarship from college and government for studying there and this kinds of scholarships promote students to study more rather than to do child labour or do anything kind of mischievous activities.

Our college host sports, labs, extra curricular regularly and students themselves take part in them very Enthusiastically. I myself play volleyball in our college and will also go to play for our college in intercollege volleyball tournaments and if further got selected might go to university game and represnt our university at that level. Sports help me in being physically good and mentally relaxed.

I live in a PG near my college in New Karmik Nagar Dhanbad I share my room with a roommate who himself study in the same college and also opted Geology honors the room is nice but it costs more than what should be charged.

Yes I would like to comment on the alumni network and senior students they are very helpful and always support new students in every way possible our alumni had even created a WhatsApp groups and added every single student there and provide every single piece of information necessary for students and clears students doubt also and sends notice about recent vacancies and other educational activities going around.

In order to get admission in this college we first had to apply for the undergraduate course in jharkhand University portal from there we have to choose the subject of honor and then available college list come there under and we had opted PK Roy Memorial College and then submitted that copy in college and got admission there.

In my opinion college faculty are very talented and enthusiastic. They are master of their subjects influence students by deepening their knowledge and helps in every aspect as possible. Always motivate students to achieve their goals and be confident in themselves. All are very disciplined and are always on time. Students respect them and follow their instructions faithfully.
