Remarks

Ims is based on a prime location. It is surrounded by mountains and lush greenery is there. The whether is always pleasant. College doest not have proper ground for sports and no cafeteria is there students go outside for food. Rarely some college fights can be seen but not an issue.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Ims has Semester system where two mid terms are taken of 60 marks and final term which is of 100 marks. Student first need to have minimum 75% of attendance and must accomplish the minimum marks of continuous evaluation. On the basis of attendance and continuous evaluation student is allowed or not allowed to appear in the mid term and final term. Continuous evaluation consists of class tests, report submission, presentation and assignments. Course consists of 6 subjects every semester and a minimum of 4 classes of each subject is taken. The curriculum is made according to the need of the students.

Placement Experience

2

Ims is famous for it's management as for law very few of companies come and there's no strong placement and job opportunities available.Internships are provided by the college for law students but it is limited because number of internship companies are far less than the number of students studying. So student's themselves search and apply for internships. For internships many firms comes legal max, legis law chamber, vidhi firm, legal ally etc comes and there's no stipend provided in most of these internships. Only few good internship companies gives stipend to the students of management.

College Events

3

Lamhe is a cultural festival which took place every year it consists of several events such as modeling, singing, dj night, fun games and concerts is arranged where a celebrity comes. Annual sports meet also occurs in which football, cricket, basketball, table tennis, marathon and many other games are played. Beside these many events thourough out the year happens for law and management students. For law moot courts are organized, rashtraniti and several other program are organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are moderatly expensive. Fees is paid in two quarters. Once in the starting of the semester and other in the middle of the year. Fees can be paid thourough online portal, thourough neft, online banking and several other ways to make it handy for the students. No cash transaction is accepted by the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there are no loan facilities provided by the college. Scholarships are provided for students who have more than 70% in their 12th class, but only for the first year and rebate for Uttarakhand student is there.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is typical. Like of any other colleges 70-30% but the ratio may vary. No workshops facility is provided by the college. No discrimination is done in the college and it is very peaceful. There are mainly from north India and African, asian students are also studying without any problem. College focuses on no ragging and consider it as a serious issues. So no ragging takes place.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is good. It's a 4 storey building. Rooms are double sharing and shared toilet bathouroom for 3 rooms. Food is average. 3 meals are provided and once in evening snacks are provided. Hot water, laundry and cleaning services is also provided

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful but it is based on individual relationship with the senior and no alumi network is there. College seniors guide us and give vital information about what to do after college and what are the options. I have never met any alumni.

Admission

Admission process in llb is done thourough clat. Students are alloted college on the basis of the clat scores. Other than clat score, a student can also join the college thourough applying to college itself. College demands students 12th and 10th marksheet on the basis marks a student is selected. Further a light interview take place where general questions are being asked. I Chose bba llb as I always liked the law field whereas I took bba because it would help me in getting corporate job though it doesn't matter much.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty in ims unison university is mixed some faculty are very interested in students and teacher's are good and friendly. Faculty consist of good knowledge and all are graduates of good colleges. Sometimes a subject is given to a faculty which is not really of that subject and it means the students have to bear the cost and study themselves. Overall faculty is good and have good knowledge about the subject.
