Remarks
Good college for placement. They ensure 90 percent placement. They conduct placement training by paying certain trainers like face, skill track which is very useful in guiding through the placement season.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our exams are part of the Pondicherry University syllabus. It is easy compared to Anna University's syllabus. The course structure is simple and evaluating process is also simple. Can easily get a good percentile.
Placement Experience
An ample amount of companies came. They offer job opportunities quite easily. Many got to intern in Zoho as part of a 15000 stipend and a few in TCS digital. A total of above 400 students got placed in TCS ninja. That's a record in Pondicherry.
College Events
We got quite a few Technical events and our college doesn't really concentrate on culture. But now they made some efforts in cultural and tech events too which I admire a lot. It's up to the department we are in.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is average. The fee is about 90000 per annum and if you went through the merit list it is still less than about 50000 per annum. Apart from that, they collect exam fees which include lab fees and other extracurricular.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship facility as per my knowledge. Loan facilities are there. They got tie-up with banks which help us in getting the right bank and the right scheme we needed. Since it's a small amount we need not worry much.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are less comparatively. Though we have all facilities to play after college hours. They conduct a lot of workshops. They take care of female students very well. There is gender equality.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, we have a network for alumni. a WhatsApp group where they share details on upcoming job opportunities and events happening in the college. It is a very interactive forum where alumni share their concerns on certain plans and actions taken.
Admission
I got selected through merit list selection conducted by Pondicherry University. I choose Eee because I thought I had job opportunities both in the IT sector and my core EEE sector while the people in it and cse are capable of getting only it-based jobs.
Faculty
Faculties are moderately qualified and few make all efforts to teach a particular course very effectively. I particularly like the teaching of few Staff members. Whatever it is self-learning pays off always.
