I am very satisfied with my college. Chitkara School of Health Sciences in collaboration with Sankara Eye Care has initiated a 4-Year full-time Bachelor of Optometry. The training methodology provides integrated inputs which help to develop a high degree of conceptual skills, analytical skills and quality technical knowledge base among aspirants and prepares them for a bright future in the Eyecare Industry.

Course highlights are :- * 1.5-Year on Chitkara University Campus *1.5-Year at Sankara Eye Hospital, Ludhiana *1-Year paid internship in Sankara Network Hospitals across the country There are total 6 semester (3years) + 1 year internship

Yes,They provide internship in fourth year. 1-Year paid internship in Sankara Network Hospitals across the country. Stipends is Rs.2500. They also provide job opportunities in various hospitals and companies such as Lenskart,Titan eye+ etc.

There are many fest and events our University organises such as Rangrezz,Explore, Symposium,Optometry Day,craft fair and various technical fest. rangrezz fest is very big and various colleges participate in this. Our college also organises various conferences on different subjects and topics.

My fee structure is Rs 55000 per semester. It is feasible. And we don't need to pay the fee in 4th year that is internship year. In this Hostel fee is not included. For this year fee has been increased which is 57000 per semester.

I don't know much about this. But yes they provide scholarship in some courses. And loan facility is also there. I hadn't availed any loan facility so i don't know much about this.

There were many extra circular activites and various clubs such as Epic Club, C2S2 club. They organise dance, singing,painting and various competition.Inside college there is also cricket ground,basketball court gym,etc.

Hostel facility is very good and it is very safe. Daily cleaning of room and washourooms. Laundry facility and mess facility is also included. Fridge, iron and induction is also provided for each floor.

Yes there is alumni team. Our senior is also very good and helpful.Ragging is banned in our college so it is Anti Ragging Interaction with seniors is also good.

I got the admission thourough interview.First we have to fill online form then you will get a call for interview. eligibility criteria is XII passed (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths as compulsory subjects) and Personal Interview.

Faculty's are highly educated, skilled and very cooperative and friendly. Especially Sankara faculty's are very good they focus much more on practicals than theory which will help in our practice.They focus on each and every students.
