I applied for three colleges DY Patil Akurdi DY Patil Pimpri which is my current college and Nutan College. I didnt get admission in DY Patil Akurdi because the cutoff was higher than my score. I got admission in Nutan but I didnt take it because the placement ratio is low the average package is not that good and the crowd and environment also didnt feel right for me. Compared to the other colleges I chose DY Patil Pimpri because the academic environment is better and placements are decent for my branch. The campus is clean teachers are good and the college has a better name than Nutan. There are more seminars and workshops also and overall the atmosphere feels more motivating. The admission process of my college is simple. Admission happens through CAP round by the government. Main eligibility is 12th science with PCM and giving entrance exam like MHT CET or JEE. At the time I make a list of 10 colleges and I want to admission VIT but due to a less percentile I cannot get admission in that college, but I get admission in DY patil also in a CET we want to make a list of colleges we want and fill the list according to that if I get admission in any college, I cannot change the college if I want to change my college, I want to apply for next round In a DY Patil College the admission process is done by cap Round the cut off of my college is for artificial intelligence and data science branch 95 percentile in CET. Also, if you have less percentile in CET sometime you can be selected in the college on the basis of sport round is the last round of college in this round the cutoff is very low. I have one friend that have 85 percentile, and he selected in AIDS branch. The admission experience is very smooth and very easy. In CET exam, I got 97 percentile on this percentile, I study previous year cut off of colleges from that I sort 10 colleges They are in my cutoff from this 10 colleges. The Y Patil college is number fifth number college of my list in first number college is COEP and 2nd number is PICT , third is PCCOE and fourth is VIT but the cutoff is very high. That's why I cannot select in this college also in COEP there is no artificial intelligence and data science branch. I compare this all colleges in different parameters like a campus campus placement and teachers faculties of colleges. Also, the NRIF ranking the fee structure for my four year study. Also, I contact students. They are in second and third year in colleges. When I selected for DY Patil Institute of technology contact my friends they are already in college in second and third year I get a various information about college like a placement and faculty from that I get admission in college. Also, that in time of the admission process is very easy for me because they already send me email in that. They mention all things this type of documents I want to submit in college and also what I want to do. Also, they send us a admission dates and fee structure at the time of admission. I want to only submit the documents and login in computers. They provide in that computer I want to login into their ERP to register in college. I choose this college over other colleges as it has very strong placement rate. I tried many other colleges, but I got this college as my percentile matched with this college cutoff. The admission process of this college is quite simple. I got admission in this college throw cap rounds. The cut off the rate of this college is not so high. I choose this college because it is one of good college in Pune also some of my siblings have done their graduation from this college only. Ya I've applied for other colleges like LPU, Somaiya, etc. Even though these colleges do have a good placements but also they have high fees that I can't pay so I choose this college....Read More
