A good place to study as well as enjoy

Since it is a new college, people may be reluctant to join here. But the college is growing fast. It has achieved great feats during the past few years. Both the students and faculty are working hard to achieve great heights.

The institute is autonomous with its own curriculum, which will be revised every 3 years. The curriculum provides proper emphasis to research. Exams are not too frequent, thereby providing ample time for the student to relax. There are 9 semesters, 6 months each and 1 year of compulsory internship, making the course duration 5.5 years.

AIIMS, being a premier institute is recognised thouroughout the country, and even abroad as well. Therefore, having the ‘AIIMS’ rag will be a boost to the resume of every student while applying for jobs. The college also provides internship after completion of the course. The stipend provided is ?23, 500 per month.

Our annual fest CHIASMA, is one of the biggest events conducted in East India. Students from nearby medical colleges as well as from other streams like engineering, arts and science also participate in this. Moreover, intercollegiate events will also be conducted by the respective committees each year.

The fee is very minimal. The total tuition fee for the whole duration of the course is ?1250. And the total amount to be paid during admission is ?5856, which includes the above mentioned tuition fee and hostel charges.

There is a football ground, 2 badminton courts, a tennis court, a cricket ground and a volleyball court. Labs are well equipped with the latest instruments. There is complete freedom in the hostel. So there are no restrictions in organising parties. Academic workshops and conferences will be conducted thouroughout the year. Student diversity is marked.

College seniors are very helpful. They help us in academics. They also help us in organising stuff. The alumni network is also good. They share their experiences, and from them we learn how to move forward.

Admission is thourough a common all India entrance test for the all the AIIMS. After the entrance test, based on merit, seats are allotted. From 2020 onwards, admissions will be thourough the NEET exam conducted by the CBSE.

All the faculty are knowledgeable. Most of them have completed their studies from premier institutes thouroughout the country. All of them are very dedicated. They are readily approachable, and are always eager to solve our doubts.
