Review of Pragati Engineering College

The faculty here is good and sport events are really lacking in this college and they never care about your sporting talent. Library is really good in this college and the canteen food is worst. They are cases of food poisoning.

The labs are not hectic and you can complete your lab work by doing at least one exercise per lab day. The course curriculum is same as jntu kakinada. Being a autonomous college there should be something different.

As the college promotes the placements are good for certain type of engineers. Not all groups students will get a placement. Civil students never get a placement. And coming to internships college never provides it.

They are events like strides, prism, cultural day and some other small events. Strides is conducted two times per year and prism is conducted once a year. Strides consists of technical events and prism consists of singing and dancing.

The fees here is little expensive than what we get and if you have government reimbursement then it will be payable and college also gives a rupees 10000 scholarship if eamcet rank is less than 20000.

College gives a scholarship of rupees 10000 if your eamcet rank is less than 20000 and decreases the fees by 20000 if your eamcet rank is less than 10000. There is no such thing of scholarship for diploma students.

The college tries to increase women empowerment and it's a good thing and they conduct a annual festival every year. There is a cultural event during pongal where we have to come in traditional dresses.

Seniors tend to abuse you on college busses and the management tries to decrease it but of no use. The ugly thing is that some students snatch money from juniors to buy in canteen and they don't return it.

I wrote eamcet exam and I got required rank to get a seat in my college. The required rank varies from group to group like it is very easy to get a seat in civil group. You need to get a good rank to get a seat in cse.

One good thing about this college is the faculty because every faculty is well equipped with their knowledge. But there are some who have content and can't express it properly. Some lab assistants who think that they are great.
