I have selected an HM course in this college. The exam procedure is very easy. You have to get 60% in both internal and external examinations. If you get above 60% in examinations you can sit for the placement opportunity. Every year an industrial visit is organized by the college.

The list of events is very high. there are zests, celebrity programs, events, management festivals, cultural events etc In this all these events are organized by our college and most of the students participate in the college. I am getting a very good experience.

This cost me 40000 rupees for three years. Yes, i am getting my money worth because i am getting as much as practical knowledge and i am becoming enter in this Chief line. This college has built my future. the college is not taking any additional fees.

The gender ratio is equal. The boys and the girls are equal in this college. JIMS college never ever discriminates in boys and girls. Most of the girls participate in events and festivals. So there is no discrimination on religion, sexual orientation etc

Alumni/Alumna

I must say our seniors are very helpful, they also handle our events, zests very professionally. And they interact with junior very effectively.

Admission

I have clear the entrance. And then i have selected the course, which i have to do in the future. My friend recommended this college.It is one of the best colleges. JIMS college is one of the topmost colleges in Delhi. This college has many facilities like sports, Kitchen, Labs, etc.

Faculty

In JIMS college the faculty is very good. I am pursuing an HM course in this college, and i must say teachers are very good. They provide you a lot of notes and the way of teaching is also very good. There are many courses provided by the college. Teachers are really very helpful.

A brutally honest review about IHM Pusa !

Placement Experience:

The college offers a decent to extravagant placement opportunities, 95% of the students applying for placement through campus skit selected into their required field. The major hotel companies that come to the college for campus placements are the Oberoi. The Taj The Marriott, the Hilton group, the Hyatt group and many more, the major QSR that come to the college for placement are the McDonald's Starbucks, third wave, Coffee, et cetera. There are various other companies that come to the college for placements such as the ABFRL Inch and brick, et cetera. The packages offered by the hotels that come for management training positions is generally 25 to 35,000 per month. But for retail sector or the QSR, it is generally 40 to 50,000 per month CTC.

Read this before getting admission in this college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year but students can earn from day 1 by indulging themselves in ODC(outdoor catering) in which the college will let you know about the job and you can go to a particular event and can earn a stipend from 700-1200 per day. Every year the college offers students the to run a food stall inside the college premises which is known as a food fest in which students can work in team and can earn money as well. The average placement package is 6,00,000 p.a. and can go as high as 12,00,000 and of course as you get more experienced you get paid accordingly. The college provides 100% which means every student will sit in the interviews and can get the job accordingly to their expertise. As I am interested in the kitchen department I will find a job in the same department.

I don't remember the percentage of students getting placement but I can surely say there are lots of good placement from this hotel School and if I talk about my plans after getting a degree I don't have that much-complicated plan but I want to be successful in life and I want to clear my mind empty program after completion of the course after this I only get my dream job that's all.

JIMS Kalkaji: Insider's View

JIMS Kalkaji is a great college for pursuing BBA since it is one of the best colleges in IP University and the only college of IPU at South Delhi which provides BBA, they provide a great exposure to students with various guest lectures, presentations, group discussions, competitions and various other means. They don't just focus on the theoretical knowledge, they place a lot of emphasis on overall personality development. They have a great course structure which is in sync with today's world. But the college has its own drawbacks, since it is situated at such a posh location the college size not that great but college do organise various sports events by hiring stadiums, and college places a huge emphasis on attendance.
