Though in beginning years the management was not. Upto the mark but later peroid with the help of online technology the. Management become. Efficient and studnet freindly. At first to formfill for our annual examination were stood in long queue for hours. But those problems have gone now. The process now smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exams are conducted by WBSU under the college is. The syllabus is somehow large than a few universities but if some one has paln for higher studeis or to seat in JAM then the pattern of syllabus is authentic. The exams are conducted two times in a year. First a test which is conducted by the college authoriy and the finals by the WBSU university. The syllabus and the teachings of the faculty of the college in physics department is really good. And will help you in your higher studies.

Placement Experience

1

As it is not a technical college the placement is not a significant matter. But the college has reputation of maikng many academicians in the state. The college is age old and have very good reputation. Tnough I have heard of a few placement but it is not in much in number.

College Events

4

The college celebrate it foundation day. Saraswati puja, durga puja. Independence day, republic day,Birthday celebration of Rabindranath Tagore and other large and small occasion. It conduct various seminars each year. We were present in a seminar where two bengali scientist frim CERN came that seminar to adress on their work in 2015. With this each year a programme/fest is being organized in college for the new students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are quite affordable. It is minimum. Almost any middle class and lower middel class family can bare it. And if anyone is unable special concession can be arranged from various source. No extra or hidden admission charge. The amount is for a particular cours for a particular year is given in college prospectus which every student will get.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I didn't. The fees was low. So I was able to afford that But there are some scholarship schems of which information can be collected from college website or in college office.

Campus Life

4

The collegee is co-ed. About The gender ration I cant say specifically but the girls participation is large. In Mathematics and physics though number of boys was more but the girls was in majority in vast number in chemistry, botany, zoology etc. And the parity in ither humanity subjects between biys and girls were quite good. Each stream where labs are requied there is good lab in the college. The most important is physics, chemistry and computer science labs. There are very good in this college. There is no discriminatie in the religious or community grounds. A sound and harmonuous environment is present in the college which the most important for any student. Sports are played in college. Cricket, football, badminton, athletics, gymsatics etc. There are inter college sporta competition also.

Hostel Facilities

4

No hostel facility available from college but there ia plenty of rooms to-let nearby the college. The fares are also comparatively low. As the rooms are in small distance from the college thw traveling time is also saved which can be added into studies.

Alumni/Alumna

Many pass out students are very successful in their academic carrier and the senoir students of same department are helpful with studies. And over all the students and student coucil are also help ful to each other.

Admission

I was interested in physics. And wished to study it in BSc. So I applied for it in RBC college, Naihati. I was told thatbthe physics department was really good and faculty of the department is good. And after getting admission I feel the same what I was told. Teachers are very goof and helpful. Lab was good all kind of instruments to do practice for practical examination was there and the lab assistant was remarkable and freindly. When I got admission it was offline mode. You have to collect the forms, fill up and submit that within time. After a week or two a merit list was published and according to the list it was confirmed whether you were going to get admission or not.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
