The exam structure of this college was so nice.the exam schedule was very good.the exam is fair.the syllabus for the exam was good.it is based upon bput syllabus.the exam time table was nice.the teacher allotted for the exam was very strict.

College Events

The events are xtasy,perception,cultural fest.the college has good in some fests.so there are many events that are celebrated in our college.such as annual cultural fest, annual technical cum literacy fest.marathon,social awareness week.many other seminar.talk

The fee structure for btech students 31000 per year.the admission for btech students is 37400.there are self sustaining courses in our college so they can give a admission fee of 78000.so in btech readmission students will give a fee of 31000

If I opted any scholarship or any loan in our college so the college will provide good in scholarship.I applied prerana scholarship in every year

The compus was very good.the infrastructure of this college was so nice. the labs are was very good.the sports facilities are very good.the gender ratio was 3:2.the boys are higher with respect to girls.the politics and economics statuswas very good.

Our alumni were very good.our alumni will give us a good guidance for future responsibilities.

After qualifying jee main examination then after merit list.I got btech in civil engineering branch.there are so many steps to admission in our college.by after qualifying jee main examination and pursuing a good rank in jee main it was so good

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.
