Remarks

College does not support co curricular activities. And 75% attendance is mandatory for all the students, which causes difficulties in working for various clubs and different activities. Students lag with the College support in many competitions.

Course Curriculum Overview

Savitribai Phule Pune University conducts our exams.Exam pattern is a bit weird.One has to give online and offline exams at the end of the semester.The pattern makes easy to earn marks in exams but causes irregularities in studies.

Placement Experience

Most of the College students try to apply for further studies.But the College placement cell also works hard to help students in getting better jobs in different industrial sectors.Placements percentage is not quite high in our College for mechanical department.

College Events

There are many clubs in our College which work in organising different events and celebrations.There are many cultural and technical events happening in our College. One of the technical event Mpulse.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible for the most of the students. Different kinds of scolerships gives different benifits to the students according to their family income which makes the education easier for each class of the society.

Fees and Financial Aid

College do not offer scholarships but the gov offers different scholarships according to castes, income and gender. Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj scolership is one of them while there are several scolerships for socially backward classes.

Campus Life

There are verious labs for various subjects.There are physics, Chemistry, Civil, electrical labs. There is a great workshop for mechanical students.College has a gym where one can workout for hours after College hours.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors of this College were always to helpful to the juniors.Many of the passout students do visit our College regularly and help us for various College programs ,events and clubs.College has many brilliant minds as there aluminium.

Admission

Gave CET exam and was searched for better Colleges.Modern College was on my list.I had interest in mechanichal things and tools.I filled the application for BE mech in this College and got selected into this College.

Faculty

The College faculty is welled trained and educated.But College faculties mainly focuses on the education and not on the curriculum activities.But must say that some facility memebers are not punctuatial and are quite careless about future of students.

In the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited on the campus are Maruti, Tata, Mahindra, TVs, Toyota & 2 offers made. The highest and average package as per company is 35,000 to 45,000 per month. 60% of students getting placements. I Plans after getting the degree is job.

Placement Experience:

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

Many companies visited our campus. Every year more than 90 percent of students placed in companies like Shalimar,eldeco, BCC, etc. The percentage should not below 60 percent for participate in interviews. Minimum salary package for freshers of diploma engineering hired 3.5 lakhs per annum. I am planning to go for the government junior engineers exam after completing my diploma

BEST GOVT. POLYTECHNIC IN UP

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.
