Remarks

It is a good choice of college. Those were best years of my life. Lots of learning and exporsure to various themes of life. Practical education groomed me for the corporate world and has set me up on a right track.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had a 5 day academic week which had a good mix of both lab work and oral classes. It was lenient giving the student enough time to nurture his own ideas in the course curriculum and grow his personality as whole. Assessments were more thought driven rather than outcome driven

Placement Experience

From banks and financial services firms to Vlsi and product based companies, placement season is filled with companies like Franklin Templeton, Deloitte,Tcs, Pervacio, Tech Mahindra, Adp, Cdk global etc.,

College Events

Great. Tech tests have a combination of workshops and student hackathons. Students from entire country come and compete in the aftermath of bootcamp. Atleast 7000 participate in the year 2016-17. Cultural fests truly bring out the creative side of students and are brilliant shows.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fee was 87500 in the year 2017. Additionally one has to pay accreditation fee and library access free. There is also exam fee each semester depending on how many subjects and electives one has opted for

Fees and Financial Aid

Students who get below 10,000 rank in EAMCET are exempted from fee as the government pays for these students. There is also an additional exemption of 35700 for students who are from minorities and economically weaker sections

Campus Life

They is a huge ground and host of sport arenas. Basketball, TT, Badminton are the popular sports. There is music club, gender diversity club, literature club among many other prestigious societies in college

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not as strong as it is in other prestigious institutes. However seniors are quite helpful in guiding through placements and higher study scenarios. College is now setting up a formal alumni cell.

Admission

Ours is a private college and features in top 10 of our state and is one of the reputed institutions of the country. Admissions are through a state entrance exam called EAMCET and National entrance Jee mains.

Faculty

Most of them are Phds and the others have worked for government firms and have extensive experience. They are just pure gold. Some of the juinor faculty are below par but they mostly just assist the senior ones in labs.

College Diaries

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed

I got an answer rank of 7381, I have chosen only ece subject in all the colleges which I have applied in osanima university, CBIT, vasaviengineering college, Gokaraju rangaraju college. Also other top 10 colleges.I got seat in this college but I prefer CB.IT college more than our college and also vasavy.College is equal to MGIT. After applying for these colleges, I got to know that Vienna is not a good college is equal and Mania university is a good college, but faculty doesn't care about students according to seat in CBI t and mjt, please. Prefer cbit. The admission process in this college is simple. You should get seat through t. this is the best college for the students who are very auspicious and determined

i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
