College Review

The college is very good at academics. So if you are a bright student this college will suit you. Subjects are up to date, we have some highly experienced faculties, labs are good, placement stats are impressive.

The course structure is quite good. All the subjects that are covered are in sync with the latest technology. So, the syllabus is up to date. The Exams and labs are very frequent so usually we have hectic days. We have 3 internal exam (one every month) and an external exam.

As I am a third-year student I don't know a lot about internship provided by the college. Placement and job opportunities are excellent as every branch gets an opportunity to get placed in some of the top companies of Gujarat. Internships are also provided.

We have a single fest that includes both technical and non-technical events. The event is not that big and includes the students of our college only. Yet, the event is a much-needed one considering our hectic schedule. The fest gives us an enjoyable break and also has a learning curve due to the technical events.

We have two different types of admission category. Self-finance and GIA. GIA category is for the government seats and the fee for them is very cheap. For self-financed students, the fee is a little bit high and unaffordable for many. But the government has a scholarship scheme for the self-financed students who cannot afford the fees.

There is a scheme that is provided by the government called MYSY. If any student's family income is less than six lakh you can get the benefit of this scholarship scheme. Under this scheme, you get some part of the total fee back.

The gender ratio is near about 1:3 in our branch. The college does not conduct many extracurricular activities. Labs are well equipped. There are many clubs in our college which conduct some technical and non-technical activities. There is no discrimination based on caste, gender, religion, economic status or sexual orientation.

I have not opted for a hostel. Hostel seats are very less and the hostels are not that good. There are many PG's around the college which have very good infrastructure and a healthy environment for students. Average rental is 1500 per month.

The alumni network is very strong and they frequently visit the college. They readily provide us the insights into working in the industry and guide us through our college stage. They are very helpful during job interviews and placment period.

You can get admission in this college on the basis of your marks in GUJCET Test. You can get your desired branch if you are in the top 500. The admission process is done by using the counseling method and according to your merit branch is provided. I chose this course because of its growing popularity and job openings.

The faculties in our college are well experienced and mostly all of them are interested in their respective subjects and are able to generate that interest in the students. The courses are alloted to the faculties keeping in mind their interests.
