Entrance Preview
As i have scored 14016 rank (gen) in UPTU entrance exam UPSEE,I have gone through the counselling where i have filled my choices ,as a result of counselling Galgotia's College of Engineering and Technology (B.Tech -EI) was allotted to me.So according to my rank this was the only option for me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is decided by the University (UPTU) which is an outdated Curriculum .There is no practical approach given to the students ,that is the reason why there is the difference between the company requirements and students capability .Faculty of the college is mostly the youngster .Faculty of the college is good but can be improved.
Internships Opportunities
Internship was not provided to us by college ,We have to arrange it by our self .I have done my internship from RELIANCE INDUSTRY LIMITED,BARABAKI MANUFACTURING DIVISION. I have learnt a lot from there ,but it did not helped me in my placements as all the company for college placement were IT company .
Placement Experience
College will provide you good chance of placements but all the company will be IT company,so at the end of your course . Whatever your branch is you will be placed at a IT company,In our batch about 40% students were placed mostly the company offers a package of 2.5 to 3.5 lack PA package.
College Events
There are number of events which are organised at college campus . About 3-4 events are held at the campus every year,big one all are cultural events,which are one of the biggest events of greater noida freshers party , farewell party,fest sunburn(once).
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships age given to st/sc students by the UNIVERSITY (UPTU)Scholarships are not given by the college,college is GREEDY FOR MONEY.yes on the name of college you can get loan easily by the banks
Campus Life
Campus life is confined ,college management have an attitude of divide and rule,from the first day of your college you are given 60 student.. Sexual orientation ,now a day every one have feelings but are not expressed due to undesired atmospherePolitics and economic status ,there are the only part of college management ,these both are done by them only.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni Network-there is no Alumni Network in the college ,no connection of juniors and seniors, here after 4 years you don't know your class mate ,so talking about juniors and seniors is a big thing, No interaction is there to seniors .No Alumni helps you to get a job.
