Remarks
Positive: (1)Faculties are good they always teach us so we get good marks. (2)-Innovation village-In which students can show make project and show their telent. Negative: (1)-Faculty only focus on marks instead of knowledge. (2)-No hostel facility.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good instead of good education they only focus on how to get more result in terms of marks.We have to give two midsem exam in each semester of 60 marks and have to score more than 30.Then the final GTU exam of 70 marks at the end of semester.
Placement Experience
The placement is good for CS/IT/ICT brach students but not for mechanical/automobile/civil branch.There are 60+company are come for recruitment and almost all students from CS/IT/ICT branch with higher than 6.5 GPA placed in company.
College Events
This is cultural festival ,In which there are different technical and non technical games are played. Innovation Village: Students from different branches create projects and represents it in innovation village.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The annual fee of L.J Institute of Engineering and Technology is 76000 p/a. I find it is bit expensive in terms of over all College campus and facility they provide us.There is 5000 library fee which is refundable at end of course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The College don't provide any scholarships but our state government do.MYSY is scholarships which is provided by government to the students who has greater than 75 percentage or more in 12th exam.As I got 79.4 percentage I avail it every year.
Campus Life
The College organize different workshops on regular basis for every brach.The main agenda is to improve knowledge. Cultural event held twice in year in College in which there are different sports events , quizzes and debate.
Hostel Facilities
The biggest disadvantage is there is no hostel of L.J Institute of Engineering and Technology so student from outside of Ahmedabad have to find PG which is too costly.The average PG rent is 6000 p/m so it will cost 72000 p/a.
Alumni/Alumna
Due to good management,our seniors give great support they help is various ways in terms of provide knowledge,help in project ,how to get prepare for interview,which area will be more popular in future etc.
Admission
I want to take admission in CS(computer science) and through my merit rank I got admission in LJIET.The merit rank is calculated based on 12th percentage and at that time JEE main mark,, currently it is based on 12th percentage and GUJCET marks.
Faculty
I think they teach us for getting good marks rather than provide good knowledge,,they only focus how topic which are frequently asks in examination and they don't teach which is less important for exam. So basically they only teach for getting good marks and not provide full knowledge.
