The College is great place to take a degree in commerce. As the College is old one you get to know about the culture traditions. Also if you have a thing for arts you can get into cultural committee.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 2 main exams during the year, one at the end of each semester. The course helps us gain good knowledge about commerce. The syllabus is also good. Although it is little out of date but still can be helpful in real life.
Placement Experience
The job opportunity for the course is limited. Although you get to do extra courses Which gives you various opportunities. The College have a separate placement cell. You can contact them for the placement.

Annual commerce event- MAVEN Annual College event - URMEE The MAVEN is the commerce focused event for 3days where various programs are conducted. Many people from various areas of society and business are called up to give lecturess.

There are some scholarship for girls for the concession in fees. Also as the College is aided, you get to pay a very little fees for the course you take. The unaided option is also there for the students.

Campus Life
There are various opportunities in sports. College have a huge ground with various facilities. Also have a large gymkhana with gym equipments. The College have a Olympic size swimming pool which you can access.
Hostel Facilities
There is a hostel for girls and boys inside the College campus. There are two separate hostels for both. The infrastructure is great although it's a old stone structure building and have average maintenance.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of College is great. There are many great personalities who are alumni of the College. The College has been a home to many actors, actresses, social worker, political persons and businessmans.
Admission
The admission is through the merit process you have to go through based on your 10th marks, which is conducted on a centralised basis. The forms are to be filled and the choice is to be made based on the merit list of previous year and your marks.
Faculty
The faculty of the College is nice and experienced. They all are well educated and qualified. Every teacher have a expertise in their respective subjects. Also you get chance to contribute in various programs which are organised by teacher.
