It is a women's college with a safe and sound environment for girls. And it is away from the polluted city. It has a natural environment. The campus is eco - friendly. It has a Cafe inside the campus. It also has a prayer area for students who intend to.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is good and it's difficulty level increases with each semester. First semester is mainly of the basics and one core paper. Exams are conducted on a semester basis so portions are divided without causing burden on the students. Frequent exams relieves students of the tension during the examinations. Internal marks are also awarded to the students by the college.
Placement Experience
This college is an arts college and hence, placements are not offered here. But for internships the college refers to famous institutions to supply students with ample experience. MSc psychology is the only course which includes internship in their syllabus.
College Events
Many cultural programmes are conducted in the college. The college conducts management fest by the commerce students. The college also organizes mega exhibitions. The college receives sponsorship from various business companies. The college also conducts arts fest and sports fest to bring out the best in students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is feasible. Scholarship programmes are not available though. It varies for different courses. The fee structure is not decided by the college. It is decided by the university it is affiliated to.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various scholarships are given by the government. The office staff will assist the student in applying for such prestigious scholarships. However, the college also takes the financial expenses of students from very weak financial backgrounds.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are conducted. Sports court is there. Computer labs are well equipped. Spacious library is also there. Resource room is also an added facility. Separate labs for UG and PG students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are spacious. The cleaning staff makes sure that it is clean and in a hygienic state. The food given to the students are prepared in a clean atmosphere and is checked before giving it to the students. Separate rooms are arranged for students of bachelor's and masters programme.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni is an active one. They organize various programs. They conduct meetings and involve current students. Charity programmes are also organized by them. Skill training is given to the current students on their behalf.
Admission
I got into the college in management quota. But the college also admits students on the basis of their marks in 12th grade. In order to get in through merit list you have to apply through Single Window admission by the government. You have to specify your preferences for the courses. Once you get in the merit list, you will be called to the college for an interview. It is for just assessing th e documents you have submitted through online at the time of applying.
Faculty
Highly qualified teachers are appointed as lecturers. They create an excellent rapport eith the students thus giving friendly atmosphere for the students. Some of the teachers are not experienced but they are talented enough so it does not cause any problems for the students.
