Course Curriculum Overview
We had an updated course curriculum prescribed by the University, itself. We learned a lot from the curriculum, especially the different roles and job profiles we will be taking in the future. Our curriculum was initially aimed at providing a holistic view of general MBA, while later on, we opted for specialization depending upon our area of interest. We studied a combination of core subjects and elective subjects.
Placement Experience
Our college has a splendid placement record, offering placements to almost 90% of the students. Even in my batch, almost 100% of the students got placed, though out of these many were those who went for their own venture. Average placement package for a student pursuing MBA from AGBS college is 10 LPA, while one of my friends even scored a package of 15 LPA from Amazon.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was somewhat nominal (at least in comparison to those private colleges). I paid around 6.24 lakhs for the two-year program. This fee was inclusive of a registration fee, tuition fee, caution fee, etc but it doesn't include hostel charges. We had the best of facilities which one could expect for the overall development of the student.
Campus Life
Abhigyan was one of the prominent business publications of our institute. AGBS has its distinct sports and cultural division is responsible for organising inter-department and inter-college sports tournaments. ANTAR club is responsible for organising social activities and making people aware about the environment, cultures and spreading other social messages.
Admission
Students possessing a valid graduation degree are eligible for applying to an MBA program offered by AGBS. Students are shortlisted on the basis of entrance exam scores. The shortlisted students are then invited for the counseling round. The entire admission process was a bit tangy and hectic.
Faculty
Faculty was very friendly, supportive and, at times, strict. They all were very much adaptable with the situation. Most of the teaching was case study oriented and their constructive feedback was very much helpful in shaping our career.
