Review of MIET Jammu

Miet Jammu is a great college. In J and K it is the best college, especially for computer science. The college also provides access to premium resources for the students to develop their projects efficiently.

The course curriculum is based on the Jammu University syllabus. Apart from that, the college organizes various workshops for students. Students are given relevant industry-specific training also. The college organizes different industrial visits for students also.

The placement opportunities provided by MIET are very nice. A lot of students get placed. The placement organises various trainings for students like competency building program which make the students ready for the placement process.

Various events happen in our college. There is one annual fest called "Sammilan". A lot of technical, cultural activities take place in this fest. Also, each year an adventure Bootcamp is organized by college for students where many adventurous activities are done.

Looking at different opportunities provided by the college, the fee structure is pretty feasible. No additional fee needs to be paid for admission in this college. The mode of payment of fee is online. There is complete transparency in the fee breakdown.

I did not opt for any scholarship. The college provides scholarships for needy students where they have to pay very less fee.

The campus life is very good. The gender ratio is balanced. There are various events that are organized. Various competitions are also held in the college like debate competitions, art competitions, coding competitions, hackathon, etc. Some fun activities are also organized.

The alumni network is great in miet. Various alumni visit the college to talk to students. Also, video sessions are also organized by the college.

I got admission to MIET college by qualifying for the Jkcet exam. The selected people are called for the counseling process in which they choose the college and branch of their choice. MIET is the best private engineering college in J and k. This is why I chose MIET.

The faculty of the college is helpful to the students. They have relevant knowledge about their respective subjects. They post relevant subject material on google classroom for the students also. They also conduct various video sessions to teach students better.
