Review of my college

Our course structure is developed very well with a proper review of the syllabus done periodically and updated to keep abreast of the latest requirements of the industry and academia. The course also covered which are not taught by other institutes. The trimester system was very helpful in helping us evaluate our performance. Has a good reputation in XISS. It also makes a person equipped for future challenges and career ahead.

The placement is good at my college. The average package for our college is around INR 6 LPA, with the highest package going as high as 13 LPA. Companies like Vedanta, BRPLS, JSLPS, Arohan, Bandhan bank, J K seeds, ICICI, Lombard, BFIL, Jubliant, Care India and Hindustan Unilever are some of the companies frequently visiting our college.

Various people from different fields interact with the students giving their insights regarding various aspects of life. Every event organized is a learning experience. It can make a student improve her self confidence and courage.

The total course fee was around 10 lakhs for the full duration of the program. I paid the fee on an annual basis. The fee was high, but I expected more facilities from them. They could have provided better amenities at such an expensive package. Also, the package could have been better.

Many sporting events including the sports day is celebrated in our college. Cultural dance at special festivals is also celebrated periodically, in order to maintain a balance between academics and cultural learning. Panache is our annual fest which features a number of different performances across all domains from participants.

I took admission to the MBA program at XISS College on the bases of the CAT Scores. I was called for the Interview process, which was a lengthy business. A panel of three people took my Interview. After that, I got admission to the college.

Our department was best in terms of incorporating teaching with practical knowledge. All faculty members had a plethora of corporate experience which they shared with us. It helped us in getting an insight into the corporate culture in advance.
