Remarks

The only negative remark is that they don't have a hostel here in sector - 128, so if you want to live in a hostel, you'll have to travel about an hour everyday from sector 62 where they have a hostel to here.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is vast and unique. We are taught a good amount of computer science subjects along with Core electronics subjects. The focus is on concept based learning and exams have application based questions. The labs are good and well maintained though there are a couple of things that they lack. Basically The examination pattern in JIIT is as: Whole semester is divided into 3 exams: T1: 20 marks, 1 hour T2: 20 marks, 1 hour T3: 35 marks, 2 hours TA: 25 marks, Teacher's assessment on the basis of quizzes, assignment and sometimes attendance too.

Placement Experience

5

The job and placement opportunities are vast. This year almost 120-140 companies came just in the 7th semester. Almost a company per day. Companies like Amazon, Amazon Web services, Adobe, Morgan Stanley Ltd, Deloitte, TresVista, Grofers, Lucideus, Infosys, Ericsson, Testbook, Wipro, Cognizant etc. came and took 1000's of students from Jaypee colleges across campuses.

College Events

4

Techno-Cultural-Sports Festival Converge which has almost 50 events in various categories namely cultural, literary, sports and technical is held every year. Annual techno-cultural Festival Impressions is held every year, allowing the students a chance to exhibit and participate in technical and academic pursuits of programming, robotics, B-plan competitions, talk shows and much more. Then there is holi celebration, theater night, theme night, Lohri celebration, Book Exhibition,Blood Donation Camp, Nostalgia - Phot shoot for final year students, Independence day, JMUN, Dandiya Night, Fun Sports meet, Freshers intro session.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite simple and feasible. The tuition fee is 70k per semester along with development fee of 30k. This makes the total fee 100k per semester. Along with this they also have a Jyc fee of Rs700 per year which is utilized in the fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

The state government do have provisions for people with financial difficulties. The one's I know are the state Government of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar which provide scholarship to students. The college also has some ties with some bank which they'll tell you at the time of counselling.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is quite good for an engineering college. For example my batch ratio is approximately 3 :2, boy to girl. There are many hubs in the college varying from cultural to technical. The students are mostly from DELHI-NCR along with Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. We have a cricket ground, a football ground, lawn tennis court, basketball court, volleyball Court and 3 badminton Court along with Table tennis, swimming pool and gymnasium.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The average rent of PG's is around 6000 for shared rooms and 7000 for single rooms. The food cost is excluded. Now most of the PG's here in sector 128 are managed by OYO Life which is making PG life better than before.

Alumni/Alumna

The college seniors are really very friendly and helpful. When I came in this college, I met a couple of seniors who play cricket and they were very friendly and which calmed down my nerves in the beginning.

Admission

I got admission in this college through my JEE mains rank. The admission criteria was quite simple. I downloaded the form through their website and sent it by post. Then they allotted the date and place for enrolling in their different colleges. The place for admission counselling is allotted by rank as JIIT, NOIDA for good rank students and then JUIT, SOLAN. I didn't had much interest in Computer Science and this was the only other course available here, so I went with Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Faculty

4

The faculty is quite good except a few teachers who can give you a little bit tension with assignments and projects. Most of the faculty is quite experienced and they know about the subjects they teach and are very helpful most of the time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
