In iit Guwahati internship is not mandatory so professor also never give any suggestion toward the internship. Only say if u r interested in research program in future then go any good intern other wise not required .

In my time as such not much company come at the time of placement (for civil).Other wise there was many company come for cs it branch Slumburger and Microsoft, Google, flipkart and many other company was come.

In college there was every Saturday Sunday some programs was conducted by hostel. And many technical programs conducted lecture series many outer student are invited they have not in IIT campus . LIT give him to show there talent and guts . And there is one cultural fest alcheringa that was awesome in mostly February 4 pro nights that was awesome never forgot that nights and days.

Normally fees is not much expensive for reservation student. In general category it is little bit high but it is not so much in compare to basic facility that college given to student a single room good internet and other swimming .

Yes it is good if a poor student get a scholarship in college for study . IIT Guwahati gives many scholarship for good cpi student .

Yes IIT have boy is more in compare to girls bcz many girls not qualified the IIT exam that is the reason. In my civil batch strength of my batch is 54 only 8 girls its too less in compare of boys why this happen I cant understand.

In college all faculty was well qualified but some of faculty was very good they do hard work on b.tech student bcz mainly faculty was not interested ln b.tech students, In structure analysis faculty not give any understanding toward the course.
