Remarks

College management was more MDI type as management were all MDI profs poached. They were okay, not student friendly policies, discouraged external participation and we students had to regularly fight for our right.

Entrance Preview

CAT, 95 percentile. Chose IMI as it was the best option of the given choices I had. I wanted to do PGDM course as I had approx 5yrs experience. Admission process was smooth and admission team managed by students sorted all of my queries and guided well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course structure was good. Though difficulty was that many students didn't know which courses to choose. I took 6 in finance and 5 in marketing. My focus was on business valuation, from, option and derivatives, sales and distribution MGMT, IT consulting etc.

Internships Opportunities

Yes internships provided. Usually 2months internship. The companies that came can be seen in the placment brochure. 40% were regulars and many new joiners. Stipend ranged from 0-100000 for these 2 months combined.

Placement Experience

3

We had full placement. Some students were placed after college got over, but college made sure that these leftover students also got good decent packages. Average package also was okayish though not what many had expected. Some companies gave a good package while some new companies gave lower starting salaries.

College Events

3.5

There were many events conducted by college. Our flagship event was Convent us. Other events were kritva and many smaller events conducted by other students clubs. The experience was good. The professors supported us well and got good support from the admin team also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive. Definitely the person has to take a loan, if coming from a middle class family. Usually course fees was 12lakh my time with 2.6lakh additional for hostel and mess. This was increasing at a CGPA rate of 10% though quality was remaining same.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. Didn't take any loan. College did provide loan assistance. There were almost 60% of students who had taken loan, as mba education is expensive.

Campus Life

3.5

We had more girls than boys in my batch. Campus life was good. Enjoyed night outs, eat outs, and delhi welcomed us quite well. Cultural and diversity club organized events now and then and we got good responses as well. Girls had freedom to come to boys room till 10pm. After Nirbhaya case, things in Delhi were different and the same could be seen in our bschool also.

Hostel Facilities

2

Very okay only. Can't rate it as good. Vendors changed year on year. There used to be manwho complaints and people getting food poisoning. Quality standards were poor with respect to the amount that we paid. Food used to be of different variety and the ca

Alumni/Alumna

Usually national alumni meet is organized by college where we got chance to meet lot of alums and discuss on various aspects.

Exam Structure

Exams were normal. 6 trimesters passed very easily. 1st year was unusually hectic with projects post exams also. Days used to pass in normal way. Though climate in Delhi did affect our studies as most of us were not used to harsh Delhi climate.Overall ass

Faculty

4.5

Faculty was good with good knowledge. There were some subjects like business valuation where faculty was totally inexperienced and bookish due to which we students had to learn by ourselves. There were some profs who had inability to express though they h

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 4th trimester onwards. The placement rate is consistently nearby 100%. Prominent recruiters include Delloite, KPMG, Pwc, EY and market firms like Motilal Oswal, Oxane and ICICI Bank. The average domestic package stands comfortably around 12,40,000 and the top 10% of the batch secures close to over 16,00,000. Prominent roles offered include - Management Trainee, Financial Analyst and Consulting roles for finance students. My immediate plans after the degree is to secure a core placement in an Equity Research Role.
