Entrance Preview

It took this college from "J&K Migrant" quota .Admission was based on HSc marks and mine were 76.8% .As my rank was low so this was the only good college left ,so, i took this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the college staff is good in expertise of their subject. At the same time they are very less understanding except for a few .It might be because they had just come out of college and they too have recent experiences how students feel.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship at my home town ,jammu. As i go to mu home in every vaccation , so i choose to do my internship there only.I basically did my internship at BSNL(Bharat Sanchar Nigham Limited). Jammu. I was bveing paid 500 pm as stipend.

As far as the placements are concerned , our college has the best of the placement records. Most of the students get placed every year.

College Events

There are basically 2 main festivals which are being organised every year. One is "MOSAIC" which comes in odd semesters and the second one is "IRIS" which obviously comes in even semesters and both are just great.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very much feasible. Infact our college had the minimum fees among all coleges in mumbai province. And for J&K students ,in which in come, fees is just 25000(fixed).

Fees and Financial Aid

No , our college donot provide any good scholarship or loan facility. Our colege do gives insurance facility to all admitted students.

Campus Life

Our college harly supports sports. The students are not provided much sports facilities. Also if the students want to compete somewhre they are not financially supported also.

Exam Structure

Exam Structure is purely based on mumbai university schedules. Overall we enjoy in labs rather than in class. Lectures are little boring.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET . The others who are eligible required a 95 plus percentile for minority eligibility....Read More
