Remarks

The college is average. Not having a good infrastructure. Teachers are good and hard working. The management committee is not very good. However students are supported for their projects. The college is not supportive when it comes about fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is good but there is no emphasis on research. The labs does not have modern and updated equipments. However teachers try their best to explain the things. The labs are not too strict.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are not really good. Very less students land up with jobs after completion of the course. However internship is provided to the college students. Companies like Autocluster, accurate, wipro, TCS and others give internship with an average stipend of 1. 5 lakhs.

College Events

The technical fest occurs once in a year where students if all branch showcase their innovation. An annual event occurs every year in the month of January. Sports, dancing, singing, quiz, debate, cricket etc are organized in this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The free structure is feasible. Annual fees for 2 semesters is 70000 for all branches except first year. First year students are charged around 90000 for 2 semesters. With comparison to other colleges the fees is reasonable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given by state government to all categories of students. The college also gives scholarship named Nani Scholarship to merit students. This helps students for their studies. There is no loan facility provided by college.

Campus Life

The extra curricular activities are good. Students participate in cricket, football, table tennis and other games. The gender ratio is same for almost every department. The students are tolerant to every religion. Students from all economic background come to study.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association is not so strong. However some alumnis are well placed in reputed companies. Many are in abroad pursuing their higher studies. Some of them are entrepreneurs. Some alunmi come to college.

Admission

I got admission through my JEE score card. After my JEE results I got a seat in this college. Further I went to the college for verification of my documents. After this I saw the college campus. Lastly I took admission in this college.

Faculty

The faculty is good and experienced. However not all complete the syllabus in the scheduled time. Many faculty are unable to clarify the concepts. There is less emphasis given on numericals of certain subjects.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Journey of passion in DPCOE

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

As i am lateral entry student this College was my first preference in Cap round after diploma , as i wanted to do specialization in this field not in mechanical enigeering , not in any other engineering , but in automobile and DPCOE was offering this course so DPCOE was my first preference as i was searching for automobile engineering specifically. Admission process was pretty simple after diploma , when lateral entry cap round begun i filled online admission form of DEGREE and i listen DPCOE as my first preference and in first cap round i got this college, I received my allotment , then i for offline confirmation i did was my admission process which went smooth , fees were to be paid also we are allowed to pay in installments so . Your Life in DPCOE

So , basically any college you go it will be the same let it be the teachers or students. I had chosen other colleges too, but this one got assigned in CAP round so took it. Others colleges had little higher cutoff so didn't got into them. But overall as per my experience every college is the same. Just make a friend group in beginning a good one.
