A very nice college with good teaching atmosphere

Positivities:- friendly atmosphere for education. No chaos or vandalism being caused. Excellent faculties and wonderful curriculum. Friendly seniors and peers. Negatives:- No timely conduct of semester examinations. College office staff are bit rude and possessive.

Course curriculum is quite a typical aspect as of many other colleges round. We have 6 semesters in 3 years of our course. As they say, it's the CBCS system of examination. We have 20 marks for our internal examinations and rest 80 marks is of examination paper. And each semester contains four paper of which two are of honors and 1 of general elective and 1 more of ability enhancement comprehensive course.

Job placements are not a every year event. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. I have no idea regarding internships. They might provide it for science students but not for commerce students. They don't pay any stripend but yess they do pay scholarship money for those who have scored above 70% marks in +2 board.

Many of the events takes place in our college wether academic or non academic. They have got three societies i. e commerce, arts and science. Commerce society organises competition like essay, debate, personality development, commerce proficiency test and many more small skills development events. They also conduct seminars sometimes. And yeah. Like all other colleges annual function is a must.

Fee structure is affordable according to my perspective. They take a round figure of approx 6000/- every year from students and 759/- from every students before semester examinations. Late fee is exclusive from respective figures. So yeah. keeping in mind the above figures I guess it's affordable and not that expensive if you look it from a perspective of bachelor degree.

I have no idea of any such loan facility being given by my college. But yess they do give some concession in the fee structure for reserved castes and tribes. And coming to the scholarship part yess they do give scholarship money as I have mentioned above.

Yes, they do organise many extracurricular activities in the college premises that would help in the overall personality development. They are really very good at sports. They have won many district and state level trophies in cricket, football, badminton and many others.

No I haven't opted any hostel facilities. I am not pretty sure of any hostel facilities being given by college. Yes earlier they used to have this but now I have no pretty idea of that.

Municipal college is most suitable for commerce students as I said. And so goes with our seniors. They are very friendly and magnanimous in approach. They solve many of our quiries regarding various academical matters. Alumni are also very well mannered and friendly. As most of them belong to finance industry and are CA's.

So after I completed my +2 examinations there was a notice of admission in that college after my results were out. So I applied via SAMS and then they shortlisted my name and as I said that the criteria was a merit list names so I was among top 15 in the merit list. This is how I got admission after completing all other procedures and formalities.

Facilities are wonderful here which makes this college a reputed college in Odisha. This college in ranked third all over Odisha for commerce which gives it an enriching facade in the academical front. Moreover all faculties are friendly with the students and they also respond to all our concerns.
