My college

The college is heaven for you if you know the Marathi language. the various staff and all are very influenced by the usage of this language. The students who know Marathi are provided with special care by the staff.

The course curriculum exists for 6 months in one semester in which 3. 5 months are for academics then 1 month preparation leave and then exams for around 25 days and semester break for about 20 days. The curriculum is decided already and the course structure is provided to all the students before the year begins. The exam structure is very easy to understand there are 2 unit test exams during the academic period then term work (practicals) are also there for 25 marks and 60 marks theory exam. Along with that attendance and assignments is of 10 marks each.

Placements and Job opportunities are quite good. I personally think that college plays a major role in jobs and placements along with the individual's skills. They train us for placement from starting and various tests are organized once per semester. Internships are provided by the college. In my department i. e. IT usually interns are provided in Zensar company. I dont have experience of this internship since I am in 2nd year and interns like this are for the 3rd year students.

There are various events organized in my college. There are many social groups that organize events like Developers Students Club, Leo Club,Rotaract Club,etc. Along with all this the student association of various departments also organize there own events. The college fest is organized by all the department associations and various events are organized the particpation in these activities various from college students across Pune.

The fee structur is quite feasible. The annual fee of any is about 12000 which increase by some percentage on a yearly basis for the freshers for example the fee foe freshers in 2017 was 112000 an for 2018 freshers were 120000.

I dont know about such scholarships. I pay my whole fees. Scholarships are maybe provided to students but I am not one of them. The never notified us about such scholarships and neither the faculty provided any details about it.

I belong to IT dept. so we visit labs on a regular basis. there are well developed labs with all facilities. The gender ratio is 70-30. There are mostly Marathi's, who are given privilage coz they knew the marathi language which everyone uses in Pune.

I have not opted for the hostel but the charge is around 110000 and the facilities are not much provided in that. I personally advice to opt for a hostel outside the campus coz they are easily accessible and very near,anyways the boys hostel is the closest of all the hostels.

No, there are no any such connections to any of the alumni. Usually seniors come to college less compared to us. Some seniors are interactive while some are not. I personally contact seniors less because I don't like there attitude.

I got my admission from CET examination conducted by the college. I registered for the exam and appeared for the exam. After 10 to 15 days the results were declared and I got 473 rank in the CET Exam. After that we were mailed counselling details on our registered email. We were asked to be present at the counselling place i. e. the college at respective time and date according to our slots decided on the basis of our rank.

The faculty is very good and supportive. They guide us at regular intervals of time. Some teachers are strict while some are very frank to be treated as friends. There are various faculties for different purpose and sometimes there are visiting faculties also present for some particular class or lecture.
